Restaurant straight out of a time capsule, diner from the 1950's that has maintained its authenticity, the salon style seats, booths, lights and decor are over 60+ years. We have been coming here as a family with three small kids for 5 years and never disappointed. The service is amazing, prompt and friendly. Highly recommend Hi-Lite!
Superb old fashioned which is the normal fashion for true breakfast meals. Great menu with a great price. Staff were extremely friendly and got us seated right away.
We went to have breakfast in this local diner. Is definitely a most go. The server was very attentive, food was extremely delicious. I’ve order the Greek Spartan omelette adding bacon with Rye toast and a black coffee, my daughter order a side of pancakes and the Old Timer’s Special with bacon and rye toasts, my son had the 4524 Breakfast Special, my daughter in law ordered the BLT with house fries and a chocolate chip pancake and their nice had pancakes. This was the perfect meal to start the day. Everything was perfectly season and delicious. I highly recommend it! Prices were good for the amount of food we’ve got. We were really pleased with the food. Whenever we’ve come back to visit again we definitely will come back. Thanks!!!
Awesome place and a hidden gem in Niagara Falls. The staff are really friendly and they greeted us with a smile and the taste of the food is so delicious. Every time I’m in Niagara I will definitely visit this place again. Recommended dishesChicken Gyro
Service is the highlight of this place as the staff are so friendly! The food was good for the price point but probably won't knock your socks off. Probably wasn't intended to do that anyway though.Food: 4/5
Great place for breakfast. 100 times better than those stupid Almac IHOP tourist trap. We ordered their breakfast special, BLT and kids meal. All are tasty and priced very reasonable. Will definitely come back when I visit niagara again
Overall I love this place. I have been coming here for years and will continue to visit. The serving staff are friendly and great at there jobs. Food is good and what you would expect. The 50s style dinner is fun and nostalgic. The washroom on the other hand are scary. The lights flickers in the hallway and remind me of a horror movie. Tiles are missing it’s not clean and smells. On top of all that it is located downstairs with no options for people with mobility issues.
Super cool place, super cool authentic retro atmosphere. Hidden gem. Avoid the tourist trap and grab your breakfast here. Great pricesFood: 5/5
The place had big serving sizes and great prices. We ordered for 5 people and spent less than $100 dollars. I believe all the meat is beef, but I'm sure they have something without meat since their menu is quite big. You could take the food to go if you didn't finish and the service was helpful and friendly. It's more vintage style, it is clean and it looks good. The bathroom is downstairs, and the lights flicker there. Can't confirm if that's on purpose or not, but I'm guessing it is. Either way, I really recommend you to go. You won't regret it.
We stumbled upon this place. We were looking for breakfast, and it came up in our GPS. This dinner was so quaint, and the service was great. We enjoyed the food. Vegetarian options: They have food for vegetarians. There is a veggie omelet and a mushroom omelet. Parking: There is street parking and you have to pay at the meter. It is $1 for 30 minutes of parking.
