Staff is great, view is amazing! Food is so-so. The beer is priced high, it's cheaper to go to most bars in Gastown then this one. It's not a bar for most students at all! There is rarely anyone in here, and they've recently decided to become a for profit bar. Which means they have reduced hours : I've been denied thrice now with the new hours, and have chosen to pass up on going because of the prices.
Staff is absolutely amazing Max, Steve, Miguel, Kaleb, and Scott in the kitchen. Also the head supervisor Daryl is really chill, but if you get him talking prepare yourself for an amazing coversation. Pool and darts inside. Easily the best place on campus or off for a good time. Edit: apparently highland pub is now closed. I wonder if they closed it because they diverted funds away from creating community in SFU Burnaby to fund their building projects.
The patio is one of the best in the lower mainland. For a student pub the music isn't great and neither is the food. So tragic. Luckily they serve alcohol.
The staff is great, as people say. But the food is super mediocre and not worth what you pay. Drinks are also not cheap. The pub nights on Thursdays are the only time there is a crowd there and it is an amazing time
Nice place to chill on with food and drinks, it has a spectacular hill view for outdoor dinners. Its a heavenly experience to dine / eat outside, particularly on days with good weather
This really could be a fantastic campus pub, with a great patio, but it's not. The food and service is okay at its best.
Nice staff. Fun place to chill and have a few drinks if you live on campus.
Amazing venue ruined by terrible hours, slim to nil weekly special or events. The opposite of what a campus bar should be.
So much potential wasted. Great location/views, captive audience, met by terrible hours and poor selection.
Splended view of the entire city from the top of the mountain.
