My trusted vets for years. I had been recommended to this veterinary practice years ago after spending a lot of money I didn't have at two newton local vets and one in Fairfield nj only to find out right away my cat had a huge tumor and had been suffering immensely. My poor cat, had I known highlands first, wouldn't have suffered.  They all care so deeply heart and soul for pets and owners alike. They help pet owners make realistic decisions for their pets and though they can be a little pricey at times, I feel my pets are in great hands and try to help me spend my money on the best solutions for my pets best care.  I've been in some delicate situations with my pets and they have gone above and beyond to make it comfortable. They have practiced excellent covid protocol and always try to fit you in. Every doctor is amazing as are the entire staff. They also have heated pet warming pads and blankets to soothe your pet befoee and during the exam. Heart this place!!

The staff is amazing! They really care about your pet! We have been going to them years.

I'm an animal control officer and I've been taking my rescues to the Highlands for many decades. My rescues live well past their supposed lifetime.

Pocahontas the Shih-Tzu and I love The Highlands Veterinary Hospital.  She's 14 and sends them her love as well.  HVH always  handles her w love and the utmost professional care.  Her recent dental went great.  Thank you Dr Lindsay & Dr Carol.  And Poca would like to thank her previous Dr too. Thank you Dr Nancy for the awesome care you gave her for almost 14 years.  We hope everything is going well with you and yours at your new place.  Keep up the great work everyone!

my guinea pig was having trouble eating since his teeth overgrew. i was greeted with a nice and welcoming staff and they took my little piggy in with great care. the vet made him feel comfortable by giving him some cuddles before the procedure. i was very pleased with this experience and i was happy to see the way he was being handled. he is now back to normal and eating his regular diet again:

Staff is very friendly. No long waits. I had my children in the car with me and you're only allowed 2 people in the room. They came out, took my dog in and brought her back out when they were done.

The greatest place among many veterinarian choices.  True professionals. Highly recommended!

Been utilizing their experienced and courteous team of professionals for 30 yrs! Even though it's about a half hrs. drive, we are happy to make the trip!!!

Very clean and very professional! The staff is always very helpful and the vets are knowledgeable with great bedside manner. It is nice to have a vet that has not sold out to a huge corporation that doesn't care about pets.
