A little confusing, you line up and order then wait for your food like a cafeteria. I asked 2 employees about the process... What do we do, stand here and wait then go find a table? Neither could answer that question . Once we got the food it was easy enough. Really just mediocre food, but it wasn't terrible. I had the ribs. We ate in here just to try the hot butterbeer, it was really good.
I loved this pub tucked away in the world of Harry Potter... the only place to buy a fire whiskey cider served by "sometimes sweet" bar wenches that were hilarious and awesome! the animatronic Boar's head was an awesome touch too. on top of the whiskey you can get specially crafted beers and warm butter beer. DEFINITELY a fun cozy spot to chill and have a couple of drinks. also PLENTY OF indoor and outdoor seating!!!
Good Foods and Beer. Wish they have in door restroom instead using restroom outside the Restaurant as crowded with tourists and guests inside the Universal Studios Hollywood. Highly recommended the BBQ Pork Rib over the chicken. We ordered the Platter For Four, $69.99, along with 1 order of Fish and Chips.
Everytime we're here, it's always too much food. We leave with glutinous grins and stretched stomachs. For an amusement park, tasty meals and great bang for your buck. The feasts are ridiculously huge. One entree is enough for two people if you're trying snack your way around the park...and they serve them magical wizard beers.
This place is my family favorite spot to eat. Very homy and magical.
The butter beer is to DIE for!! We got the fish and chips and they were actually really good. Totally amusement park over-priced but delicious nonetheless. The atmosphere was very movie detailed and fascinating to look around at.
Went to the bar to order some drinks. Ordered 2 frozen butter beer and two shots of whiskey. The bartender LARRY filled the two shots and set them out front. He asked if we wanted the butter beer frozen or cold which I then again said frozen. He printed the receipt and got the two frozen cups. When he saw I didnt leave a tip he complained that I didn't tip him for just pouring a drink. Then took the shots back and poured them half out. Worst experience I've ever had at ANY bar.
Love this place. I get the Chicken salad and it's SO much food! its the perfect thing to have on a hot day since its light but filling. My boyfriend has tried the shepards pie and bangers...both great but the bangers were SO tasty! I had two slices off his plate ;- Sometimes there's a line, but it doesn't take long to get in and order. No need to send a family member to find a seat while you order food either. The hostesses are there when you're ready to find your table for you!! love this place...definitely going to be my go to place to eat!
Based on the pictures, I feel like this is the Three Broomsticks. Anyhow, good vibes here - authentic to the theme. Butter beer is very sweet as it should be. Fish and chips were good. My only criticism is the prices are very high for what you are getting.
This is a tourists attraction. Expect to pay a little under $5 for a soda with no refills. The food quality is that of Costco or cafeteria style food under heat lamps. Children's menu items are approximately $8 and adult food starts at $12 for a salad. This is food that appears to be prepared in bulk. For a family of 6 with 2 adults and 4 children the bill was $105, and this was with 2 children drinking water. It is what it is. Nothing was wrong except the food is massively over priced for the quality you get. Having to pay $5 for an ice tea with no refills is a little outrageous. So moral is you pay for a cute experience at a tourists attraction. Overall despite the bill my children were fed and happy with the experience.
