First time experience was not the greatest at St John Home Depot asked for help and just got pointed into a direction and said it’s over there and the associate walked off secondly placed an order for delivery got half my delivery Phoned customer service said there was nothing they could do till after 12 told him use the rental van to bring it I asked if they they would call me back they said yesThey never did. I phoned back back an hour later to talk to the manager he said he would for me back in 5-10 minutes he did now I have to put out the fire of a long time faithful customer that is very upset with me she has been a long time customer for three years and is a good chunk of my yearly earnings hopefully I have her as a customer after all this they need better customer service and attention to detail
We had terrible experiences with the kitchen designer. Caused major delay in building our house . I am very frustrated and disappointed with the degree of ignorance and lack of professionalism. I came to sign the kitchen contract after several month of literally chasing her ,she left the store and cancelled my appointment. I felt sorry for her colleagues whom were very apologetic and did their best to help me. Definitely the worst experience we had during this construction period. To be fair my experience with other departments in the store was excellent and I can’t speak high enough of Bob in appliances .
I cannot believe the treatment I received at the Saint John Home Depot Store. I have been a loyal customer spending over $3000 in just the last 6 months. Last Saturday, they were to deliver the supplies for our front deck. Family members took time from their weekends to come and help us build it. When the supplies arrived we were missing crucial items such as deck blocks, post brackets and post tops. When I called the store to let them know I was told that they knew they had not sent all of the supplies we paid for. They told us that we could either be refunded for the missing items or wait another week to see if they could get them in. They also told us we would have to pick up the items ourselves should they come in. Even though we paid to have everything delivered... We decided to have our money refunded for the missing items. When I arrived at the store, the Assistant Manager Chris S. dismissed me, sending me to the Customer Service counter. While working out my refund I asked to speak to the assistant manager again, as I wanted to know why they would not contact us to tell us that they were not sending all of the items we paid for. Mine and my families time is valuable and I do not appreciate it being wasted. When Chris S. arrived he could not answer my question. My husband was very upset and wanted to return ALL of the items. I was trying to smooth over the situation, and asked for a discount for our trouble. Chris S became belligerent and rude, and purposely embarrassed me in front of the other customers. He then arrogantly told me if we didn't want to shop at Home Depot we could take our business elsewhere. Well, don't worry we went to Kents, and were treated with all the dignity and respect customers deserve. Home Depot needs to have managers who can remain professional or you are going to lose even more valued customers.
Beware ordering online. Every experience ordering online has resulted in cancelled orders, lost shipping costs and customer service won't do anything to remedy issues. Amazon does it far better - and frankly so does China. Deplorable.
James, who works in the washer & dryer section, is phenomenal! So knowledgeable, patient, and courteous, he really makes each visit to the store special. Keep up the awesome work James! Home Depot is so lucky to have you!
We’ve officially been waiting for a kitchen quote for over 7 weeks. Started in March with a meeting with Gillian which she was 20 minutes late for. She told us we could have cabinets ordered by end of April. She also told us we’d have a quote the following week. 2 weeks later I reached out to check on the status of the quote - to which I received no response. I reached out again in the third week of waiting for her to say it’s not ready yet. The following 4th week I called to speak to her manager to see if there was a way to expedite our quote to be told that Gillian is on vacation and won’t be back until May 10th 2 further weeks from my call. She put be in touch with a virtual designer Dan from PEI. I ended up going over all the details of our kitchen with him over the phone for him to tell me I’d get a quote the following week. Well that didn’t happen and Dan went on vacation for a month! Now I have had 3 calls to the store to speak with Jenna the kitchen design manager and she never returned any of my messages. Needless to say the customer service in the kitchen design area is abhorrent. They either need new staff or to retrain the ones they have to manage deadlines. I will wait to see if anyone elects to get back to me but I’m not holding my breath! My advice is to go to another business to hopefully be treated better than I was here.
There was a part I needed to fix my multitool. I went to Home Depot to see if they had a part. The rep took his time to help me. We must have spent 20 minutes looking for that part. I couldn't believe the customer service I received that day.
Very friendly, well trained staff at this location. Always super helpful. A HUGE shoutout to Jeff Asian gentleman who speaks Mandarin, for always going above and beyond. What an asset he is and I couldn’t have done my home reno’s without his expertise. Keep up the great work everyone!
I called 4 times today 3 times no one picked up in the department I asked for, the 4th time someone answered and said the person in that department was busy and they couldnt help. So I left my number at 6.30PM never heard a thing back and I want to spend $5500 and they couldnt care less.
