Always great customer service in every department. We shop here OFTEN and always great experience. We recently went In waukesha store and had very different experience. Ty Delafield location for being awesome!
Rude customer service in the paint department both times with different employees, first time we were ignored by employees talking to each other instead of helping us. Second time he talked to us like we were wasting his time asking questions. The rest of the store was friendly.
ERO Moving LLC had a fantastic experience at Home Depot! Their extensive range of packing supplies, friendly staff, and reasonable prices made our visit a breeze. We highly recommend Home Depot for all your moving supply needs!
They do not stand behind their custom cabinet makers. buyer beware! We received two damaged pantries from kraftmaid over the course of 4 months. Home Depot is giving us the runaround and now they are insulting us by offering us a $200 discount for a $3,300 pantry. Both of which are just sitting in our garage taking up useless space and we cannot finish our kitchen remodel. Now we will fight to get them to pick them up and refund us all of the money we have paid. And then we will have to start all over with someone else.
I have found Home Depot to be the best store for the DIYer. This particular store is well stocked, and has a helpful group of employees.
Bought a patio set, Didnt have one in mukwonago, said there are 3 in west Madison. Showed up there. They canceled my order and refunded my money, without notifying me. Teenager told me I couldn't buy the floor model untill September. They sold it that week. Very very dissatisfied!
If you know what you're looking for, it's fine. But if you need help or have questions, this place can be frustrating. Of course I still shop here mostly garden center and lighting.
Hawaka waka waka goes one wheel on the cart over the cement floor. You could build a world from what is here, and yet, it is less than a world in itself. Curated more for acceptable functionality, there is a lack of higher purpose to this shrine of do-it-yourself. No real sense of how to make the world better. Diversity is dead here, but the tools you will need to rebuild it can be found if you already know what you want to do.
Tammy from customer service was super kind and helpful to us today. She was very knowledgeable in online special ordering and it made the whole process seamless.
Lots of people standing around. Don't always ask if you need help. When you do ask, they don't always know the answer. Frustrating. Update: No one is knowledgeable here. I guess I'm supposed to Google everything...or go to Menards. The paint dept is probably the only dept I've come across that was helpful.
