Let’s just say that you are lucky if you get a decent appliance installer from home depot. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel. I could write a book about all of the things that went wrong with my installation of a washer and dryer and home depot is not taking any responsibility. I have purchased many appliances from home depot but this was definitely my last. Then again when a refrigerator was delivered damaged 3 times a few years ago, I should have called it quits with them then. Will probably try to resolve through BBB. Need to check out my options.
After pulling out a combination of Christmas decorations that were all mixed together I made an attempt to replace items screws, bolts, washers on my own at the Portsmouth NH Home Depot. Luckily I was able to get assistance from "Kevin" Home Depot employee that totally helped me pick the right items and saved me hours of frustration. Thank you Kevin and have a great Christmas Holiday!
could not locate the item. I ask for curbside delivery. While waiting for customer service to locate item, After 30 min I looked out on lot and a gentleman was there with my item. next to my truck. I don't know hw long He had been there. better communications would of streamlined theprocess.
Three times never delivered my 3 new appliances aweful could never get a good answer why. So we went to lowes they had it in stock I brought home now after 13 days of h d not bringing my stuff we can finally cook. It's been 7 days now and they still have not credited my card yet too..don't buy from sue in appliances. Paint department is awesome
I ordered a refrigerator for the business that I run. It was scheduled for delivery 5 days later. In the notes of the order I included the name of the business and the store hours 10 - 7. The morning of delivery I received a call at 7am from the delivery team, trying to make the delivery. I agreed to have the delivery rescheduled for two days later, during our open hours, and the delivery never came. The person we spoke to at the store said that the scheduled delivery date was a mistake, and rescheduled out another 3 days. Once again the delivery was a no-show. The store was apologetic, but did not know why our delivery had not happened. We were rescheduled for 5 days later. I decided to be proactive and called the store on Friday for a scheduled Monday delivery to speak with a manager. I was hoping that a better line of communication would lead to a better result. Makenzie at the store was great, she listened to my experience and told me that she would pass this on the the "escalation team" and get back to me. She called me a couple of hours later and told me that an email had been sent to the delivery company but no response had been received. She promised to call me when the answer came. Having not heard back from Makenzie, I followed up with her on Sunday. She stated that there had been no response to the email, but that we were showing on the delivery schedule for the following day, once again for the hours of 7 - 11. I paid a substitute manager $200.00 to come in 3 hours before we were open, because I did not want to be without the refrigerator for several more days. The delivery team showed up at 7:00 almost on the nose, but did not have our fridge; the driver stated that his paperwork showed only that they were there to pick up the old refrigerator. We called the store, and were promised that our fridge would be put on another truck and delivered to us by 7:00. Needless to say, it never arrived. At long last the delivery was made the following day, 18 days and 6 attempts after I ordered it. I sent an email to Hope Depot Corp., detailing my experience and asking for some compensation, since this actually cost me some money. No offer or even reply ever came. Store personnel are good, but they have a very poor 3rd party delivery service. I will not order another appliance from Home Depot.
Bob in paint was extremely rude not just to me but to the other 2 customers waiting, I won't go back here again. I gave him my paint order which he began to fill then quickly turned to help another customer who he snapped at and this after leaving the lady ahead of me to figure out the stain she wanted on her own. When my quart was ready he hands it ro me and I requested 5 samples of the paint chips in my hand and he snapped at me saying, "why didn't you say something!?" I replied that I didn't have chance to because he went to help the man behind me and Bob replied, "well, this is gonna take some time, why don't you go shop." No apology, no politeness, just a jerk.
Clean, products nicely displayed. Associates willing to help and spend the time to be sure your needs are met. I was unsure how to use automatic cash out machine, an Associate, Emily, saw my struggles and immediately came over not only helped, but taught me how it works. Really happy with this Home Depot. Been going there for years. Garden shop is also filled with all sorts of marvels, from potted plants, seeds and trees. Junelizabeth
The employees here are the absolute best! A HUGE shout out to a few: Barry you are a gentlemen and your help was so appreciated! Thank you for your patience with me. Mackenzie - amazing. Thank you for going the extra, extra, extra mile for my dumb self. Devin, you were right and I was wrong. May all your customers accept your knowledge from this day forward. I also want to thank two employees in the paint section who did an outstanding job helping me on two separate visits. One gentlemen helped me choose a stain combination that would match my floors. He took the time to actually test more than five different multi-coat samples so that it would match. He is just another example of the above an beyond employees at this store. The other lady helped me with paint chip samples, explained how the system worked. She gave several good tips on how to choose the right colors at home. Very valuable information. The employees here are nice, they care, they are patient, they smile, they are so helpful. I will drive and make my home improvement and new tool purchases at this store because of the excellent service I have received here. Lowes is less than five minutes from my house, but I will drive 15 minutes to this store instead!!!
Great store. People are friendly and helpful but the only this is its not as neat as lowes and just prefer the blue marketing bs over orange..no big big deal. I will still go there..
