Kate at this Home Depot location in August 2023 was great! After multiple attempts at trying to get help with our gift card where all other employees were stumped. Kate came to the rescue - she was efficient as possible and wasted no time. These are the types of employees that are the true stars! Thank you.
I own over 30 rental properties and spend a huge part of my lifeand lots of money in Home Depot for renovations, repairs etc today I went in to buy a washing machine for a property and received the Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Stacy the manager in appliances...I've never encountered a more rude employee anywhere and will be shopping at Lowe's from now on.
The nursery is my favorite of all because of all the plants found here. I can enjoy a well planted garden and immerse myself in nature for a few minutes. I picked up an order and customer service was peachy keen.
Update; A guy came to help finally and tells us I am gonna help other people on the isle first “WHO DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR HELP” like seriously? It’s been 20 minutes and I am still waiting for my turn which was first. Wood cutting service is worst. They keep you waiting for hours.. it’s so painful. Customer service at its worst. No one’s available despite of calling for help multiple times
It was 6 o'clock on a Friday evening and I was on the hunt for a clearance item I had purchased at another Home Depot a few days earlier. Joe from the other Broad Street Home Depot had called the Glen Allen Home Depot to see if they had my Coconut Beach candles I was so desperately trying to find for my daughter-in-law! They had 9 of them! So I went charging down Broad St. When I got to the store, Ayaan was working the customer service desk. I asked him about the item and he told me they were up on a pallet. He would need to find someone certified to drive the forklift and find them! David was the forklift driver! They got the pallet down and there they were, 9 candles! These guys went above and beyond to help me. They need to be recognized for exemplary customer service. Thank you
Sandra or whatever her name is, the Assistant Manager of this store is the most dismissive manager I have ever met. I have gone to this location for years, will not again. We came into the store for a simple online pickup, I guess that was too much to expect the person that said “next in line” to actually do their job. She cancelled our order after condescendingly telling us that they split up our order. Instead of even giving us our options she cancels the entire card during Memorial Sale weekend so it’s completely inaccessible until the return is processed, a says she “did us a favor” and “can’t help their online inventory isn’t correct”. Seems to me the assistant management got a higher up position and felt they need to no longer do job responsibilities of employees below her. Or perhaps she just didn’t want to help anyone that was under 50 or dressed differently. Will be calling corporate about this one.
Manger Christian who helped me with my blinds for my new home and Emmitt with his amazing charisma and customer service, had me laughing after such a long day! These young men were awesome and personable. I'm so glad I came to this location.
“5 Rugs in Stock” at the store, go to the store and they say none available. What a joke… Update: they do have them in the store in a different area and the employee in the back near the washers seeing 5 in stock lied straight to our face and said they were out of them
Rude manager was the last straw... SMH at the self-important manager that shooed me away in a condescending and dismissive way due to "safety reasons" as I was outside just after closing checking out lawn tractors for an upcoming purchase. She claimed her staff was "busy working the area" - there wasn't a single person in sight for the 10 minutes I was there. If I thought that I was at risk or in the way, I would've left. It was crickets until, out of the darkness she came... This $4000 purchase, and all other home improvement needs will not be at Home Depot. Lowe's customer
Once again a great location, wonderful customer service, and the best price for paper towel per unit this side of town that I can afford to drive too. Also bonus found the recycling bins for bulbs and rechargable batteries.
