Did my first Curbside pickup today, had trouble navigating the app my fault and they were extremely helpful. A lovely veteran with excellent customer service assisted me and brought me my order. So convenient for a mom with a sleeping baby in the car! Very quick as well. No waiting.
I mean how can you not love home Depot? Only annoyance is sometimes they won't cut boards when you need them to. But they give him military discount so I'm pretty happy about that
Ordered a stove a week ago, delivery a week. Fine it's my only day off anyway. I get confirmation email and text they'll be here between 10 and 2. Wake up at 9:50 to find 3 missed calls they were here 20 minutes early and I missed them by 12 minutes. I call back and get told oh well sorry we'll have to reschedule for another day they have a schedule to keep. They're 20 minutes ahead of schedule. I've been waiting a week. They didn't bother to knock on my door??? If they had my dogs would have alerted me. They did not bother to pull their standard size box truck into my driveway because they were afraid of damaging something? Mainly my yard which confuses me because all four of my cars are parked in the yard beside my house. When I moved in here I got the biggest box truck U-Haul has in the driveway. So your little truck will fit. Your workers are lazy or the company that you sublet has lazy workers. Your customer service staff is rude. I will never do business with your company again.
I purchased an in stock clearance refrigerator Samsung Bespoke from the Beavercreek HD Store 3855. This was nearly a $2000 purchase. It was delivered Thursday Aug 3rd and was plugged in to start cooling. Over 24 hours later it still had not cooled at all and was warm inside. This is a smart appliance and the door open alert kept going off. The door was shut and no issues there. It kept sending me the alert after I unplugged it. When I plugged it back in, it started again then the power stopped. I called the HD store and they basically told me they could do nothing because I bought something on clearance. I was upset because I paid this much for a new appliance that did not work. They said I had to call Samsung to come fix it. Now at this point I had sold my old refrigerator and the buyer was getting it Saturday. Samsung was going to be almost three weeks to come look at it. I have several people in my home including a child and they basically said I was on my own. I was upset and asked for the manager. This "manager" told me that they did not test this appliance because it was a display and did not have any idea whether or not it worked. Which made me livid. How do you sell something like that and not make sure it works? I called the corporate office and talked to a very nice person in the appliance area who seemed shocked that the store offered no help and no solutions and also did not test this appliance. After HOURS on the phone with the store and corporate the decision was made for them to come get it and I would order a new one. Problem is I cannot order anything until I get the money back for the non functioning appliance. NO sympathy, no solutions offered at the store. Saturday two men came to get the appliance and basically threw it out of the door. I took photos of them doing this. They damaged the side and did not care whether or not they broke it. I asked when it would arrive back to the store. They said they were taking it directly there I live 20 minutes or so away from the store. I called the person at the store and she told me she would be there until close and credit me back as soon as it arrives. I checked my account today and still no credit it is an HD account. I called the store today to see if it was credited and confirm when I would have availability. The person told me it never arrived and they cannot find it. The "manager" then told me there is nothing he can do until he finds it. THEY TOOK MY PRODUCT AND STILL HAVE MY MONEY! This is not acceptable. Not only did they lose the non-functioning product, but they still have my money and I cannot purchase a new appliance so I can keep my food cold. This is NOT how you treat a customer and NOT how customer service works. This manager today also told me, "Well I am not sure why it did not work, it was working fine when we had it here". One of these "managers" is LYING. Which is it? Did you not test it, or did you break it and sell it to an unsuspecting customer thinking your problem would just go away? I asked for the manager to call me first thing in the morning. I want my money back so I can purchase another appliance.
One time at Home Depot I ran into people that I knew and it was great. Then this other time when I went to Home Depot, I went up and down every isle trying to find something at the store that they showed they had on discount online. But come to find out that the item is actually only sold online. Then your stuck paying for the more expensive item that they actually only carry on the shelves.
Would get five stars if workers actually tried to help you. I walked back and forth multiple times passing workers and none of them asked if I needed help. The store is always clean though, and very well organized
I’ve been waiting now almost 6 weeks for countertops. It’s been one thing after another between Home Depot and their installers KBR. My product is in and now want to make me wait even longer to get on the instal list.that’s what you get for spending $15k in a month with them. Wouldn’t NOT recommend buying countertops or anything through home depot. I’ll be switching stores
I shop at Home Depot a lot & they have a great selection & good products. The delivery service they used for the new washer & dryer set they sent to deliver & install is just bad! Lost parts to my washer & didn’t even know how to install the set. I tried going back to find the part I needed only to discover it’s a special order piece only available through ge appliance! So frustrating & time consuming. What I thought would be done in 20 mins ended up taking several days now due to having to wait on a part to use my washer. The dryer vent they sold me the delivery service brings with them is so fragile & tears very easily! Ended up buying a more rigid flexible dryer vent hose because I was a bit worried by the foil hose they left. Would’ve been better off just having them drop off the set & picking out my own materials & installing myself. I had the same set, just older by maybe 3.5 years, had it all removed & ready for them. ‍ just very disappointed!
My husband and i ordered a washer and dryer for my daughter who lives on the 3rd floor of an apartment buildinginitially there needed to be some modifications made by the apartment in order for the set to be set up. When the delivery day came they came to her apartment and said they could not set it up due to corrosion on the water spickets. We called maintenance who came over tested the spickets and ensured their functionality. Delivery was scheduled again, again the delivery guys said they could not set it up due to “corrosion” our area has hard water it is simply lime this time my husband was present. He informed delivery that the spickets were fully functional and to please bring up the appliances. Now they state that the dryer vent was not in the proper place. My husband said fine bring the appliances in and set them up and we will have maintenance do the “installation” since you are seeing so many issues. The delivery guys responded by telling my husband they needed to call dispatch, ran to the truck closed the doors and drove away. Maintenance had just arrived to let them know that installation was in fact very possible and he was willing to assist if necessary. When my husband called the customer service line he was met w/ even more attitude and disrespect. The customer service representative said it was not their fault that the delivery is a 3rd person contract. This may be true but they are contracted by Home Depot therefore a representative of your company. Angered my husband canceled the entire order to which this person refused to give him a confirmation of the cancelation. Fast forward 1 week the same set ordered from Best Buy and is not set up and running on the same spouts the the other company told us would not work and refused to even just give us the merchandise we paid for! I have never had so much trouble trying to spend 2,000$ in my life. My husband and i have been loyal customers for over 10 years, appliances, flooring, tools etc. but this experience and the company being unwilling to take responsibility for the company that they contract really put a bad taste in my mouth for any future business. In short if you order anything and it involves anything more than simply carrying the item in 1 floor and putting it down consider Best Buy, you’ll have better luck.
Curbside pickup is a long wait. It took half an hour just to receive some gardening supplies. if your in curbside pickup I recommend going inside the store instead of waiting a long time just for your order.
