Staff could be more friendlier and helpful. Went to pick up an oven that was already purchased. I walked in, found the oven with my name tag on a pallet near the exit. I was told to go to customer serivce. The guy there had a serious attitude. He called for assistance to help load the oven and stated that I had to get another connector. Once I got the connector I went to where the oven was, bought the connector and waited. After 10 mins I asked the cashier at the exit where the assistance was. She instructed me that I needed to go back to customer service. I stopped her and told her that I had already done so, showed her the paperwork and showed her the name tag on the oven. She then stated that the guy was "on his way out" and called for assistance again. After a few minutes she stopped a employee walking by, the oven was loaded and I was finally out of there.
We bought a GE stackable washer/dryer on 12/18. TC helped us with our purchase. She was very friendly and didn’t try to upsale us the more expensive units. She answered our questions and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. A month later and we are loving the new set up. Thank you TC.
After our existing laundry washer broke down, we tried to purchase a new Samsung washer and dryer set early last October by making the two and a half hour, one-way trip to the nearest Home Depot. They don't stock any so we were told we had to order them and they would arrive in the store for us to pickup in a week. After taking nearly $2000 from us for the set and the extended warranty, we then waited for over two weeks without hearing anything about our purchase. Beginning to worry, we called the store and were assured that our set would soon arrive. Sadly, that was not the case and months went by with still no arrival and a different story every time we called. After nearly three months of Home Depot holding us hostage, they claimed the set was lost in transit and that we would either have to re-order or if we wanted our money back, make the five hour round trip to get a refund or wait at least six weeks for them to mail it to us! By this point, the lady of our house had already been reduced to tears over this disaster on several occasions and my patience had long worn thin. We consulted with the Bend, OR Home Depot after losing all confidence in this store, and were told that this store should have never promised us a timely arrival as the set was on backorder. In fact, the Bend store said they would have never took our money for the set in the first place. After nearly THREE months of Home Depot holding our money hostage, we made the all-day trip to the store and got a refund. We then vowed never to shop Home Depot again and ordered the exact same set for less money from Best Buy and within only THREE business days, our appliances arrived as scheduled! Sadly, Home Depot has become a joke, and a bad one at that, in which customer service, honesty, and integrity are no longer a priority! Buyer beware.
ATTENTION: BE CAREFUL AND WATCH OUT FOR HOME IMPROVEMENT SCAMS. WW JUST GOT TAKEN FOR $25,000. GARY CHANDLER WHO WORKS FOR RIGHT NOW HEATING COOLING AND PLUMBING, OUT OF CALDWELL ID. HE ALSO SUBCONTRACTS WITH HOME DEPOT. WARNING!!!! DO NOT TRUST ANY OF THEM I CANT BELIEVE WHAT GARY CHANDLER, HOME DEPOT AND RIGHT NOW DID TO US. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO REPLACE OUR ENTIRE HVAC SYSTEM. WHAT A JOKE. IT IS A HORRIBLE JOB AND IT FAILED INSPECTIONS, VIOLATIONS HAVEN'T BEEN CORRECTED. NOW THEIR PERMIT EXPIRED. YOU SHOULD SEE THE FURNACE, IT IS LITERALLY FALLING APART BLOWING ALL THE HEAT INTO THE CRAWLSPACE. ALLGOV AGENCIES KEEP PASSING THE BUCK. THEY SOLD US A SYSTEM THAT WONT BE UP TO CODES ON JAN 1ST 2023. HERES PICS installed 11/11/2022.i had to fight a month just to get a receipt. They gave us blank work order . I'm disgusted with Home depot, Right Now Heating, and especially Gary Chandler who is supposedly their number one guy, yea I bet, cuz he comes in and is deceptive business practices totally took advantage of situation. Oh yeah and from what I can find out by sleuthing I'm pretty sure Gary Chandler used a procurement account to buy a tankless hot water heater that we paid for.
The wife and I came in to return a used sink drain part, that we had noticed someone had destroyed the fiber filter on. We had to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive at the customer service/pickup area, we were greated nicely and easily able to return the part to get another. The part as well as some tools we needed were well categorized and easy to find, and we were also greeted again by a worker stocking/pulling an item off of a shelf. The only issue I've ever had here have been used parts missing items, or having those items slightly damaged. We've always been able to get a return though.
A guy named Leonardo who works In returns is extremely rude and worthless. We stood there and waited for help, while he visited with off duty employees, he just stared at us. Thank goodness for AJ who came to help. HD needs to give him his walking papers. Why pay someone who doesn't work.
Well stocked and a very friendly staff. Restrooms needed some attention but understandable due to it being very busy. Definitely recommend Ontario Home Depot as your one stop shop for all your home needs.
When you can get help it can be a positive experience. I went in today looking for a window. The employee at the desk in that area was helping another customer. She never acknowledged me and walked off with the other customer never acknowledging me sitting at her desk. I walked to a main isle to try and find some help. A young male employee walked by and stated someone would be helping me soon. I continued to wait in the main isle. 5.5 minutes later, another male employee sauntered up the isle and helped me. Just answered a few questions. The whole ordeal took about 13 minutes. It doesn't sound like much, but when you are waiting to be helped, it's a lot!
Staff acts as tho I was shoplifting fallowing me all over. Not even 5 mins after I walked through the store. I don't think I look like a shoplifter all tho I'm not sure how one would even look to tell. I even wondered around in areas that were dumb like the wood and sprinkler section for like 5 to 10 mins just to make sure she was. Then I even asked her a question about extension cords and she lied right to my face about it and then when I confronted her an asked for her name she ignored me I had to get her name from another employee ... I eventually asked for a manger at the cashier I the garden center and gave him my items I was planning on purchasing a d complained I understand people shop lift but really should see someone taking something to be fallowing them for almost my entire time there.
I am literally in the Ontario Home Depot daily. I am a painting contractor here in town. Leo is an employee of Home Depot. In the last 2 weeks, I must have Leo at least 5-6 times. Leo has helped me in many different capacities. He has been the self check out guy, to the stocker and has helped me load my truck when I really needed a hand. Its almost like having a friend when you go to your go to store. He has passion for what he does. You can tell. A true professional! Thank you Leo!!
