Home Depot is a shadow of what it once was. Now it's an overrated OVERPRICED garbage dump. Probably due to poor corporate managers being over paid and not delivering good product. The Brewster Home Depot is the worst of the bunch. They never have what you need and never have the help on hand. Being a contractor and a home gardener I find myself ALWAYS disappointed. This is the time to buyafter mothers day flats of impatients and begonias,. A simple basic inexpensive flower....Not a healthy flat to be seen. You have to pick through death finding something half alive and they have the balls to charge top dollar for junk. Poorly run, poorly managed, poorly stocked and you get a feeling of hard apocalyptic times here. Not a good shopping experience at all....and again, Home Depot prices are way too high now!!!! much higher than mom and pop shops.
Today I had the best experience at Home Depot! Before I headed to the store, I called and spoke with Justin who confirmed the 12ft skeletons were officially out for sale and to come into the store and go to the service desk and they'd have one waiting for me. When I arrived at the store I went to the service desk and they immediately called Justin who got a skeleton for me. After I paid I needed some help getting the giant box to my car, I also want to add that I had my 1yr old with me too. Both Justin assistant manager and the store manager helped get the giant box into my pickup truck. They had me pull the car up to the front of the store and then did all the heavy lifting. I tried to give them a tip and they refused to take it. Today, I was met with such kindness at this store, and it really blew me away. Your customer service went above and beyond! Thanks guys!
The Home Depot experience is nice and clean , user friendly and consistent the same store. This Home Depot has very helpful staff, easy to find items, good product availability and incredible plant’s… Pretty!
Just rude and nasty. I tried buying something from this place and made the mistake of trying to help the associates find it in the case. I got yelled at for being to close to the case where the goods are locked up. I was literally 2 feet away from the self checkout register. Not to mention I was helping them as three associates couldn’t find what I needed. The attitude from the lady was just tremendous, you would have thought I was stealing from them. I told them they could keep the items and didn’t want to purchase them anymore. I hope robots replace you all. They would have more humanity and compassion.
It's Home Depot... if you've been to one you've been to this one. The wood is typical HD quality so expect bows and knots galore. Staff is helpful. Gets very busy on the weekends especially the garden section.
If you are going to place an order at this store , be sure not to use Tom at the pro desk. This guy has lied to me multiple times regarding an order that is 5 weeks late. This guy is a scam artist, he will tell you whatever you want to hear in order for you to place the order. Once you do place the order, you will meet the real tom. The lying tom that cant except responsibility for his actions. The gaslighting tom who doesn't care about his job. This guy is wreckless and I cant wait for karma to do its work.
For the 4 time going to the store door department have some information about front doors. My first visit the person who I talk wasn’t very ambitious and he said: my husband or son need to meter the door so we did. Back to the store different person said somebody from Home Depot have meter ok?!!! I did. Next visit I have to wait 10 days. Today. No information in the computer the man with no ambition again He couldn’t even show me some notions or catalog to see some doors. My husband and me see the poor customer service is getting worse!!!! Home Depot danbury disaster is our opinion. Sixbey
I had ordered a Ryobi Mower and when I arrived at the store the box had been opened and was missing batteries and chargers, an employee went to ask a higher up on what he should do ! but another problem was that this was a promotion and with this Ryobi Mower cams a Ryobi Trimmer, and that was not there either ! So when the man came back he had the missing parts to he Ryobi Mower but he said that since they did not have the Ryobi Trimmer that I could come back to pick it up when it is available! When finally they had the Ryobi Trimmer I went to pick it up an a manager that was there refused to honor the promotion and refused to give me the Trimmer ! The manager gave cheap excuses as to why he would not honor their promotions, very bad Customer Service ! Time to Shop Somewhere else .
Their online order for curbside pick up is not reliable. I've attempted it 3x. The first time, after getting the notification that my order is ready to be picked up, and checking-in online to say I arrived for the pick up, I waited about 20 minutes before I went inside to see where my order was. It wasn't ready and they never saw my check in. I placed 2 other orders for curbside pick up, canceled one because it took too long to fulfill, and still waiting for the other to be done.
Stopped in to get some aluminum square tube. I usually don't ask for assistance but the app said it was in the paint section. So I asked a very nice man and woman who helped me find what I needed very quickly. They were extremely polite and helpful. Best home Depot experience I've had
