11/09/2021. Just purchased an unfinished wood screen door. Had tremendous help from a young associate. Did not get his name, but if he reads this he will remember me. He carried that door through checkout and placed into the back of my Jeep Cherokee, way out in the parking lot. What a nice guy. I also purchased hardware for the installation. Now a little sanding and painting I should be good to go. I usually have good luck at Home Depot.
Amazing Location. I got such great help from one of the associates that I literally called into the store to speak to the general manager to ask that this gentleman receive a raise. he went over with me about his personal story of plumbing. He explained to me all the options I had, explained to me the cost of each different option, he even gave me some tips and tricks that your average employee would never have known and he helped me solve a huge plumbing issue I was having at my home. I cannot recommend this location enough. I've been there multiple times to do large home improvement projects and every time they have the experience and the knowledge to guide you through the purchase and explain to you all the different products and your options available to use them. Could not recommend this store more.
This is one of my favorite stores to go to in Monticello. I'm new to home DIY and I'm hooked on it. I go to this location probably 3-5 times a week. Most of the time, just to look. The people that work here are so friendly and kind. I've had such great interactions with some of the employees. Steve in the paint department really is one of the best people. He always has a great attitude and greets me by name every time I see him. I have many other stories I could share. I love this Home Depot and I always look forward to going back.
Walked in on Black Friday was offered honey bun and hot coco, realized left wallet at home, walking out empty handed employee at door said grab a coco and pastry and a happy holidays. That right there gave me goose bumps, top notch to them!
It is 6:22 on a Saturday morning. Google as well as their store sign advertise they are open at 6. An employee walked by and saw people standing outside but did not bother to rewatch our or offer explanation. As I’m writing this an employee came and activated the sliding door and informs me the door was open. There is a flat bed truck for rent that I parked next to. The front tires are scalloped to the point of being smooth. The rear tire has a huge gash in the sidewall. I didn’t look on the other side of the truck.
Home Depot has really stepped up their game in the convenience department. All though it does appear there are fewer employees. It’s actually easier to navigate the store with their app than have an employee who doesn’t know or may not care to know where anything is and lead you around looking for another employee to find your product. And in my opinion check-out has become a breeze. I love the email receipt option which makes it very convenient for returns. Lowes will never have a step up on The Depot
I bought a quart of paint to do some touch up painting. It was way off so I brought it back. The gentleman suggested I pick out a paint swatch that is the closest to the original paint I had. It matched perfect and I'm so glad I don't have to repaint the entire bathroom!
Everyone at this Home Depot is SO NICE! They remember me when I come in and I feel right at home! Big bonus: you can bring your dog!
Friendly and helpful workers clean store but doesn’t have that much stock just display models in Milwaukee tools that I need it.
As usual, employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Hope management pays them well for this. It is why I shop at this store.
