The Hospital of Central Connecticut Bradley Memorial Campus-ER

There is not enough stars to give to all the nurses and doctor that helped us. The medical care given at this hospital is a far cry from the most hellish, horrible experience we are being given at Yale Hospital in New Haven as our beloved family member is still there unfortunately. Yesterday my daughter came in with a medical emergency. Waiting time was minimum. Front to back staff was absolutely amazing. Caring, very thorough with very good medical expertise. Nurses Lisa, Jen, Ultrasound lady, CT-scan staff, Dr. Kaump. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Best ER experience ever!

Kicked out at 3.50 am after letting them know my Ride couldn't come til the morning.the worst experience . Being lied to when there are plenty of empty rooms. The people during the day shift were great. The night crew I'm unhappy with and being treated like less than a human. They don't have funds for Uber when my insurance covers it. DISCRIMINATION

Take Note: If you are experiencing SEVERE PAIN with nausea unrelated to chest pain, do NOT come to this emergency dept and expect to be seen immediately! PATIENTS ARE SEEN IN THE ORDER OF ARRIVAL PERIOD! Go to HOCC in New Britain! This ED displayed POOR quality of care!

I went for an open MRI and the staff was Amazing. When I walked in I was greeted by a wonderful greeter who just made me smile. I then proceeded to Radiology where I was greeted by a nice secretary who took my information. But the Best part was having my MRI with Joanna she is one of the nicest people ever. Bradley Memorial is lucky to have her. After going to a closed MRI that I couldn't do I found this open MRI I definitely felt better still nervous but Joanna put me at ease told me where she was, kept checking in on me, told me at anytime if I wanted to stop I could, told me the next test and how long it was. I can't say enough of how wonderful she was to me making me laugh and just putting me at ease. If you are scared of closed MRIs this is the place to go. The hospital is so clean and pretty too I was amazed and will always ask my doctors if I can go there for procedures. Again ask for Joanna for your MRI she was the BEST!!! Well tonight definitely was one for the books in nursing 101. Brought my son in for a reason I won't list,to be told all rooms are booked we can sit on a stretcher in hall.totally fine have done that before,to hear a few pts talking about how poorly she /they were treated not,even asked if she needed anything for almost 3 hours. To me an my son being there almost 3 hours I asked the nurse the 411 cause the doc was in said what he's gonna do and haven't seen him since for another nurse to come in and rudely say u can leave an come back me dumb founded says why would I do that she says idk,poor hospitality from many patients there tonight 1 doc to 18 pts .meanwhile 5 nurses sitting at the desk eating,chatting having a grand Ole time while 1 nurse was running around crazy.hope she gets a raise. So needless to say we walked out and will seek help elsewhere..DISGUSTING

Very rude Dr. made me feel like I was just wasting his time. Left in the middle of our conversation and never came back. Instead sent it a nurse with discharge papers. Will definitely never be back

I had a Dr fax orders multiple times to the MRI dept. The fax was confirmed as being sent and the staff said they never received them. The Dr's office spoke with MRI dept and nobody entered the notes into the computer. They are incompetent at the MRI dept and obviously don't want to do their job. I'll stick with Yale for all my medical needs from now on. Atleast Yale knows what they're doing and treats their patients the way they should be treated. Bradley Memorial MRI is a poor excuse for hospital care. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

My daughter had a procedure today and got home with chest pain and difficulty breathing. I took her to Bradley because it's the closest hospital. We checked in and saw a Dr in less than 10 minutes. Dr. Farmer, Nurse Beth, David the xray tech and Joe from respiratory where all amazing. I'm so grateful for the prompt, professional manner of everyone. Turns out she has pneumonia. The entire staff was so kind, explained everything they where doing, made a painful situation so much better for both of us. An amazing experience all around. Thank You Bradley ER Staff for taking amazing care of my girl.

Brought my three year old daughter here last night to the ER. Turns out she has pneumonia. So she needed a few treatments before we left. Dr Dan, Allie and Carmen were all amazing and treated her like she was there own. Took great care of my little girl as she was very scared and miserable. Drove from Waterbury to come here and I’d do it again in a heartbeat if need be!

The ER is the best in the area. Fast, friendly and very thorough. I appreciate the care and peace of mind they provided me. They got my bloodwork and imaging done right away & had results within 30 mins. I had a respiratory treatment as well. I couldn’t believe how efficient they were. The whole team working together for the care of one patient rather than waiting forever for one person divided between so many patients. I could tell they took their time & cared about the well-being of their patients. I felt so much better upon leaving.
