What a beautiful property!! Inn keeps are very friendly and are very particular in making sure your stay is perfect. Rooms were beautifully decorated in New England fashion. Bed is super comfy and sheets were soft and luxurious. Wine and cheese is served each night and is a great start to a night out. Ask the inn keeper for restaurant recommendations, he gave us a lot and the three we went to did not disappoint!! Breakfast is a feast and you will not leave the table hungry. Every morning was a home cooked delight with the freshest ingredients. Although you could get eggs and toast cooked any way you liked, there was a different breakfast offered each day. What a great weekend getaway in a beautiful historic area. Be sure to look for wineries, breweries and enjoy a scenic drive.
We have stayed at this inn a couple of times. Jeff, Lisa and the rest of the staff are always so welcoming and courteous. We stayed here during our wedding planning and then during our wedding weekend. They were amazing at accommodating our requests. We had the makeup artists come on a Saturday morning and Jeff was kind to help us put together a table of snacks for the folks getting ready in our room. Our room had a nice king sized bed with a large bathroom and a jacuzzi. They were very prompt to clean it and always checking if we needed anything else. We highly recommend the breakfast. That bacon was incredible, and the homemade cookies! It's all made from scratch. We were blown away by the service. We brought our dog the first time and they were also welcoming to her! Lenox has a special place in our hearts and we'll be coming back every end of summer to visit and check out the museums and all the things to do in the area. And of course, this is our to-go place.
Lisa and Jeff absolutely spoiled us. Our room was unbelievably comfortable, with the most lovely bed, sheets and blankets. The Inn is beautifully appointed and the pool was a wonderful surprise. However, nothing was better than the breakfast! Everything was delicious, every day. There are herbs fresh from the garden and homemade black raspberry jam. Lisa also went above and beyond, with a gluten free biscuit or scone each morning for me, and gluten free blueberry pancakes one morning! We are so grateful for everything they did and look forward to staying there again.
We had a FANTASTIC stay at the Inn. Jeff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was clean and lovely. The daily Happy Hour was yummy and relaxing. Breakfast was clearly homemade and DELICIOUS and the staff was so kind. I will highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stocbridge.Rooms: 5/5
We had a lovely time at the Inn. My biggest worry was finding gluten free food, but they had an incredible breakfast with gluten free options and very knowledgeable staff. They even had gluten free crackers available for the wine and cheese sessions in the evening. Thank you so much for making a gluten free traveler very happy!Rooms: 5/5
You would think that at 36 I'd have stayed in at least one B&B before. You'd be wrong. This was my first. We came here to stay on our way to Maine, and really enjoyed the stay. We were in the petite room - and yes, it's as small as it sounds, just a queen ben with enough room to walk around - but is comfortable nonetheless. The mattress was a little old and pokey and a bit squeaky, but still reasonable enough. The breakfasts and staff were excellent, and the area around it is great! The Norman Rockwell museum and local downtown areas Stockbridge and Lenox were a lot of fun to walk around.
Just okay. Room not the cleanest. Breakfast didn't start until 8:30. Have stayed at nicer in the areaRooms: 3/5
Everything was perfect with this stay! The homemade breakfast from Lisa was simply the best we've had, with specials of pecan French toast and eggs benedict. We enjoyed the wine and cheese happy hour and getting to meet the owner and other guests. We stayed in the Wharton suite, it was spotlessly clean, oversized whirlpool jacuzzi tub and very comfortable bed. The inn is centrally located within close driving distance to all the shops and restaurants. We will be back for sure!
The inn at Stockbridge is *so* magical and perfect for a romantic getaway. We stayed in the cozy Madame butterfly room. The bed was so comfortable and I loved the view of the estate from our window. In the mornings, jazz and coffee would filter softly into our room from downstairs and it was the most delightful way to wake up. The HIGHLIGHT for me as a gluten free person was Lisa’s gluten free cooking for breakfast. I have been gluten free for years and it is such a luxury and treat to have such delicious gf blueberry pancakes, quiches, and other treats! The wine and cheese afternoons + coffee stand was also a nice addition and much appreciated. The inn is also a great location in which to drive to other cute towns and access some of the best hikes in Massachusetts. Would also suggest booking a massage while you’re there! We are already hoping to return soon:
We stayed here for my fiancé’s birthday weekend. What a charming and well run inn by our hosts Lisa and Jeff. Our room was beautiful and well appointed. Wine and Cheese at 4:30p was a great way to meet other guests and talk with Jeff. Breakfast was prepared by Lisa - and was delicious. We looked forward to the baked goods she had waiting for us every morning in addition to breakfast. So yummy. Would highly recommend for a nice weekend getaway to just slow down, enjoy each other, and enjoy this beautiful part of Massachusetts.
