The Island Players Theater has been bringing live theater to the Golden Isles and Saint Simons since 1956.
The Island Players has been dedicated to bringing live community theatre to Coastal Georgia since 1956. The not for profit organization is an all volunteer organization governed and managed by a Board of Directors and receives funding from corporate and private donations, and membership subscription. Season offerings include four mainstage productions featuring at least one musical, all selected by ballot of the members. Quarterly membership meetings also feature entertainment.
A six week Young People's Summer Workshop has attracted 80 to 100 young people from ages 8 and up for over 27 years. Additional programs for youth include the Island Players Teen Actors Guild (IPTAG) and a scholarship program for dedicated students who meet high academic qualifications and have made a significant contribution of their time and talent to the theatre.

-General Admission: Adults $20
Students (18 and under) $5 each.
-All seats are general admission.
-All performances and auditions are held at the Casino Theatre in the Pier Village on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
-Benefactors and Angels are admitted 30 minutes prior to curtain and Season Members are admitted 20 minutes prior to curtain. The box office opens approximately 15 minutes prior to curtain.
Show Times: Evenings 8pm , *Sunday Matinees 3pm
We encourage Benefactors, Angels, and Season Members to arrive at the theater early and to also come early in the run of the show. Those wishing to purchase individual show tickets should also arrive early.
Note: Generally speaking our least busy days are Thursday and Friday.
