Home of the St. Pete/Clearwater Ravens Flock for all those fellow Ravens fans in Pinellas County.

Description

The Joint is the newest addition to St. Pete from the people that have brought you Willy's on St. Pete Beach, home of the legendary Big Gooey, and Dead Bob's, voted Ultimate Bar by TBT.

We have just started serving food and look forward to becoming another staple of our beloved St. Petersburg.

My husband never wants to stop here, so I stopped by today by myself!! He thought it was "just a dive bar without food," but he is totally wrong. I specifically went for onion rings, but ordered more than that! My server was okay, but I had definite server envy of the table across from her as their server was awesome!!! I had no clue what the specials were -- or that there even were any, but the other table had everything described to them!! I almost asked if I could join them! I ordered the onion rings and the chicken parm. Feeling guilty, I ordered the chicken livers to go for my husband. Everything was delicious. The sauce for the rings was amazing. I did get charged $1.00 for the to go, they charge 3% for using a credit card. I paid cash, but did not get any coin change back. We will definitely be back.
The velveeta goo burger was good, but it needed more velveeta to be gooey. The tomatoes were unfortunately no good, but this is pretty normal. I ordered the tots but received the fries, and they were standard fare. The service was less than good but better than bad. Pretty standard these days. My buddy had the fish sandwich, and it was plentiful. See pics. Parking: Parking wasn't bad.
Place was pretty busy during my visit. Service was impeccable, food portions were more than adequate. Fun surroundings, easy parking.Food: 4/5
Bring cash as they will whack you for an extra 3% if you pay with a credit card. The food was excellent, but incredibly salty. They lack any drink menu, making it difficult to know even what beers they have or any of their pricing. The server really wasn't any help and had little knowledge of the beers available. There is no tap beer. The server started off very surly but then got nicer as the meal went on. The portions of food are enormous and the value based on the price paid is tough to beat. The vibe is a dive bar crossed with knowing you'll get huge portions of comfort food. If felt the mixed drink prices were quite high for the area. I also felt the margarita was quite poor, despite requesting top shelf ingredients. The parking lot can be crowded as can inside the restaurant. There's a patio out front, but often has smokers there, so it wouldn't make a good dining experience. They use Styrofoam cups for water, which I find incredibly surprising given the restaurant is located so close to fragile habitat and ecosystem. I'll gladly pay a nickle more for a glass cup to be washed by your staff!
Relaxed and chill atmosphere. Priced so reasonable. Food tasty and fresh. I had the conch fritters and scallops. I’m from Chicago so I would pay 3 times this price for the same meal near me. Staying in the area and a nice treat!
My partner and I stopped by after a late night shift and were craving a burger. We walked in and ordered for take out and the server was great! We waited exactly 10 minutes before our food was brought out and immediately smelled something delicious. The burgers were perfectly cooked and tasted AMAZING, after moving from New York and having my select favorite burger spots The Joint has climbed the ranks and taken first. It was exactly what I was craving and everything was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu! Definitely a hidden gem!!
This is a small but got it goin on hot spot. The local crowd is friendly loving and and fun for sure. They have an exciting little menu which i tried some conch fritters and blackened Mahi tacos. I did enjoy both and look forward to having some other yummy food. I met some new people and enjoyed my first and certainly not my last time in the joint!
RATED 3 The outside patio smelled awful...the food did come out fast though. Not sure I will return as the staff was rude and inconsiderate.Food: 2/5
This is a little restaurant. Setback off of the road, kind of hidden. Folks rant and rave about their food and their burgers. We tried it for the first time the other day but ended up getting their POD. That stands for pic of the day, which was tile fish over mushroom risotto. Kind of fancy for this little dumpy place. You'll get good value for your food. Become early because they get busy fast.
First time going here and it was amazing. The food was really good and reasonable priced. The drink ls are a good deal not pricey like most places and the staff is amazing. If you haven't been here you should go try it. You won't be disappointedFood: 5/5
