I love CRISP. Not necessarily because they have the best food ever, but because they are giving people like me gluten/dairy sensitivity a SAFE space to eat. Once you walk in, you have the pastry display to your left and to the right there are beauty products and other great stuff you can browse. I got coffee here and the pork belly banh mi. I will say, I did not expect the bread on the banh mi to look the way it did, but it was quite delicious for being gluten free! I didn't love the coffee, but I've noticed it is very difficult to find GOOD coffee in the St. Helena area. My wife had the avocado toast which also came with gluten free bread and a bunch of delicious toppings. The bread was pretty good, but you could tell it was gluten free... when will we get to a place where you won't be like "hmm.. something is slightly off about this." The service here is amazing. There was a couple beside me that was being quite the tough customer, and the server was delightful and helpful. "Model Bakery" employees could take some lessons from CRISP employees. Dietary restrictions: CRISP is a godsend for gluten free and dairy free individuals.
The cashier did not even greet us! When looking at the menus she repeatedly asking whenever we were ready to order . I got my noddles as my wife’s food , it was totally forgotten. She got her lunch once mine was already done. Being in hospitality business for more than 35 years , It is just a confirmation how the little details are important to succeed in this business.
Five stars for atmosphere, service, quality of food and deliciousness! And for a gal with an exquisitely sensitive system, I have walked away from this scrumptious lunch not only not feeling a little sick - like I normally do after eating out at most restaurants - but actually feeling great. Be prepared to spend a little more than normal, which I know is true for all restaurants with the effects on sourcing and availability, and for Crisp, the excellent quality of food. However I feel it was well worth it: the owners themselves checked on us twice to make sure we had everything we needed, and we got to sit in the cozy corner on the benches. This place is worth the hype if you don't mind spending a little bit extra money. But don't fret, you'll feel great after dining there.
Wonderful breakfast spot! This coffee shop and cafe is full of delicious and healthy treats and delicious coffee. And if you are gluten free— the perfect place because everything is gluten free! Beautiful new room with delicious foods and a friendly staff. They have a variety of items that are gluten / dairy free, and they also sell health items such as protein powders, face masks, and more. They also have prepped foods if you're on the go! Service was a bit slow given we were the only people there, but definitely a good overall experience! **Edit: to five stars for the rapid response. They are great people!
Wow! It's like walking into a high end boutique that offers vegan food. So cool the vibe is, and the restroom is so "pristine." The best experience in a public setting. Absolutely fantastic all-day breakfast spot and cafe. Everything we had was delicious. The gourmet coffee is excellent. And the highlight for me was their house cured salmon tartine. Best salmon I’ve had in a long time. Never frozen, clean and crisp. Will come back!
Unusually nice. Very clean, bright, well designed interior that’s also spacious and comfortable. Good drinks and a variety of foods— everything is gluten free too, which was surprising. The WiFi is shockingly good, just under 400 mbps, though their captive portal login system is utter garbage and works 10% of the time at best. Again, it’s very clean and nice. There’s a variety of seating options and lots of neat little things. Would be an excellent place to get a drink and a snack then do work or browse the internet, if I were the type to do that.

Chrisp is delicious and has fantastic service! My husband and I shared the breakfast sandwich, the clean green smoothie, and the turmeric wellness tea - All of it was so tasty! Ordering was very easy and slick, we ordered inside but there is an option to order online as well! Staff was quick and friendly and the owner was very involved with the process we were lucky her dog was out on the patio to say hi.
