I would give 5 stars but this place is dang hot inside! You would like a facility like this would have A/C. Especially with the tournament fees they charge and entrance fees they charge. These kids deserve better. The courts are nice. Decent seating for spectators just a big miss with no AC in the high
Way too loud inside- they need to put up some sound curtains or something to stop the echos and absorb sound. You can’t tell if the whistle is on your court or another court. Terrible parking situation. Uncomfortable bleachers with too many people packed in. Never do a tournament here. In addition to player tournament fees, they charge $25 per persons to watch. Why?! This is double dipping and unacceptable.
My son has had a great experience with the Kongo basketball program. The coaches and staff have always been so kind to him.
Kongo is a great facility. I had a 7on7 team that was our farmington tackle football B-team, we always got clobbered by the farmington A-team...beating them was seemingly impossible and last year winning 7on7 was generally associated with beating other bad teams. With kongo it changed rapidly. They started off hitting in the middle of the pack at the first tournament and then making it to semifinals and competing well with many of the good teams. Our last tournament we beat a lot of good teams, but the highlight was watching the B-team beat the seemingly impossible farmington A-team...really it was like watching the movie little giants...it was amazing. It was great watching these boys improve and play/compete at a much higher level. Oh and the facility is great with physical therapy as a part of the package...this has been very useful for my son.
My experience here was AMAZING! I brought my kids for a karate tournament the facility is great so open and so so clean!! Such a fun and clean environment!
Tournaments should choose somewhere else to host their events. This facility has nice courts but is so hot it is miserable. The staff are rude and have no problem treating spectators with little, too no respect, even when you pay 45 dollars to watch an event in this sweat box!
Grateful for the opportunity to have a one stop option for my boys to play. We play in their basketball program as well as their 7on7 football program and have had success. They offer athletic training to their athletes to help improve speed, agility, strength, and power. We have been a part of many teams and have paid for a lot of training. People leave reviews complaint about price but when you actually break down hourly rates for the amount of training and time you get on courts or fields, Kongo is actually a really good price. I’d definitely give Kongo a chance with your athlete.
If zero stars was available that’s what I would put. We have basketball games here all the time and there’s always something that the reds aren’t calling and today they never called any fouls and the safety of the players was not accounted for which is horrible to do to anyone. We tried talking to the employer of the refs and he got in our faces when we were just trying to stand up for our players. Then we tried to talk to the owner and he was nothing but disrespectful and rude. As someone who also owns a business I understand people are different but when it comes to safety the costumers concerns should always be dealt with.
It was crowded. Interesting place to watch basketball ball. But the kids got to play basketball. Does have weightlifting that has a batting cage and 3 basketball courts.
Everyone leaving reviews complaint about referees must not be familiar with sports. Referees have nothing to do with a club or a league. Bad and good reffing is part of sports. Get used to it. These are some of the best and most competitive leagues available to the area.
