It was such a great experience to go in opening day for the Barbie movie. The employees there were all dressed in something pink. One was dressed as Ken. I loved how they helped me feel so welcomed into their theater and how happy they were.
1. Business of operations hours has to be listed on the doors and ideally on Google maps, for the Christ sake its 2023. 2. Seats HAS to be reupholstered. When I pay 14$ for the ticket and as much for snacks I don't want to seat on the chair that gonna leave pealing off particals on my clothes. Wake up management - everyone got large screens at home these days, going to the movies is about experience. Appearance of the theater is part of that experience. 3. The rest is good. Good staff, decent bathrooms but seating has to be renovated.
Horrendous!!!! From no one being at the main bar to the disgusting seats that don’t recline theatre 3. Do yourself a favor and go to coco or downtown SILVERSPOT. Only came here because it was closer to my friend but we’re both appalled that Merrick has such presentation as a movie theater. The AC seems to not be working as it feels hot. Horrible experience never coming back!
I need to understand how a big movie theater chain like "The Landmark" at Merrick Park, a luxury mall, can allow people to use movies theaters under these conditions. We usually go to the movie theater in Coconut Grove remodeled recently, but yesterday we felt like going to another theater. So we bought the tickets online and ensured the theater had reclining seats. To our surprise, we found a theater where the AC was not working properly, and the seats were reclinable a long time ago but not working now. The worn-out seats were disgusting, and old popcorns were everywhere. It gives the feeling of an abandoned theater. When I mentioned all my concerns to the ticket receiver person, he said that it happens that the only theater that still needs to be renovated. This objection is funny since the movie they are playing on that theater is the most watched in the last week in US AIR. Definitely, the worst movie theater I have been in; I am not one to tell you to don't go but watch by yourself the pictures I took for those folks checking the reviews.
A movie COULD just be a movie but when you buy tickets specifically for a theatre with reserved reclining seats, it’s fair to expect that. 3 out of the 5 times I’ve been here I’ve had issues with seating. No one I’d guiding guests to their seats and helping avoid annoying and awkward encounters between guests. I don’t want to pay $36-$40 just to watch a movie with my boyfriend and have to manage my own guest experience. During the movie when people are late there’s usually a group trying to figure out who took whose seats. On a good day this is resolved in a mature way. Yet, in my experience you can easily get someone who doesn’t care and doesn’t understand and you get stuck in seats you didn’t pay for. The reclining chairs don’t recline in many of the theaters and they’re VERY beat up and uncomfortable. The mall is great and the theatre lobby and bar ARE very clean and put together. But we don’t watch movies at the bar.
Today our family weekend adventure take us to Merrick Park to see a new release movie in Landmark theaters, when wait for a while to started the show we ordered food from the bar and. The burger is like regular burger nothing special but the French fries that's delicious and the pepperoni pizza with pineapple amazing and the Buffalo chiken wings my wife order was incredible savor. The attention to the customer was excellent and fastest after this good experience we closed the night with excellent movie wakanba forever the best version of black panther In honor of Chadwick Boseman.
Really nice movie theater. The theaters are smaller than other movie theaters, but the seats are super comfy. Only some theaters have recliner seats. You can buys your tickets ahead of time or use the kiosks. They have a bar and the popcorn was delicious. Friendly staff. Clean areas and mask required for some peolple. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Plenty to do after the movie in the shopping center.
This theater clearly doesn’t care to keep up with their facility. The seats are falling apart and don’t recline. It looks like a luxury theater from the outside, but once you walk in and look at the seats it’s quite a shock. Such a shame too because this theater is in a great location and has potential. I rather make the trip to Brickell city center’s theater next time if I’m going to be paying a premium for a more high end theater experience. This was definitely the worst theater I have ever seen.
Seats were absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned, popcorn everywhere, and just overall a horrible experience. Also there is no clear indication of which movies are playing in what auditorium and there are just people coming in and out. Was expecting a good experience, but was just extremely disappointed. Don't be fooled by the nice exterior, the seats and the atmosphere are disgusting. The movie was also played in VERY LOW volume. I could not hear half of what the characters were saying. Spend your money somewhere else.
Theater 3 is in terrible condition as the seats don't work. However the sound and film quality were still excellent. I did have an issue with the cost of the bat tab. Two drinks doubles were $74. Outrageous price.
