Haytham Faraj is a nationally recognized trial attorney. He represents clients in a variety of matters criminal and civil matters in state and Federal courts, as well as in administrative hearings before Administrative law judges and Boards. Mr. Faraj has represented clients in a number of complex cases that gained national and international notoriety. His remarkable record of successes reflects his commitment to his clients and his dedication to continually work on mastering his craft.
Mr. Faraj has represented individual and corporate clients in complex civil disputes against entities and Governmental agencies including Federal, State and municipalities involving fraud; contract disputes; tortious and negligent conduct; Statutory violations; and seizure actions. He also represented clients accused of criminal violations in Federal, Military and state courts. He has provided successful legal representation to clients accused of committing White Collar crimes; crimes of violence; DUIs and DWIs; Drug and trafficking charges; and military offenses charged under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. His passion for providing honest, committed and best-in-class representation drives him to continually work on improving his skills through regular legal training and education to remain on the cutting edge in his fields of expertise.

Mr. Faraj began his legal career while he was in the Marines Corps. He served as the senior defense counsel at Camp Pendleton, CA from 2005 to 2008. In 2008 he left the Marine Corps to found a law firm with a colleague. When he left the Marine Corps, he had culminated a career that spanned 22 years. During that period he had served in a variety of assignments and places.
Mr. Faraj joined the Marine Corps from his hometown of Chicago, Illinois in 1986. He achieved the rank of staff sergeant. He began his enlisted career with First Battalion Fourth Marines in Twenty-nine Palms, California and an infantryman. Following his initial assignment, he went on to assignments on embassy duty in Djibouti and Stockholm. In 1990 he was reassigned to Second Battalion Fifth Marines as a mortar section leader and later as a weapons platoon sergeant. He deployed to Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm and participated in a number of deployments. In 1992 he was selected to the Marine Corps Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP). He attended the The Citadel and was commissioned a Marine Corps Officer in 1995. Between 1995 and 2002 he served in a variety of infantry billets including platoon commander, executive officer, company commander and operations officer.
Mr. Faraj has represented clients in federal and military law criminal cases including espionage, drug trafficking, federal importation/exportation violations, business fraud and theft, wire fraud, and war crimes. He has also represented individual and corporate clients in civil actions involving breach of contract disputes; defamation; fraud; FAR disputes; FOIA challenges; property seizure and blocking actions; and challenges of adverse government decisions regarding government contractors and vendors. He has also represented clients in civil rights and civil liberties claims against police departments and other law enforcement organizations excessive force, unlawful searches and other civil rights violations.
Mr. Faraj is a magna cum laude graduate of the Military College of South Carolina -The Citadel- and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the American University, Washington College of Law.
He is Licensed in the States of Illinois as well as the District of Columbia, Mr. Faraj is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, U.S. District Courtfor the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Faraj, is fluent in Arabic.
