The Lazy Bear Lodge is exquisitely furnished with a mixture of antiques and rustic Aspen Log furnishings. Enjoy all the comforts of home, including four king beds, 6 flat-screen satellite TVs with DVD or DVD/VCR combo, 2 queen sleeper sofas, stacked stone fireplace with gas logs, and a deluxe kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There is even a piano for having old fashioned sing-a-longs!
The main-level Master suite features an elegant bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and bidet, as well as a separate exit/entrance from the huge deck. Play a game of pool, air hockey, or cards in the upstairs game room. There is also a compact refrigerator in the gameroom for storing cold beverages. Enjoy a collection of DVD and VHS movies, as well as a library, which includes many children’s books. There are also many board games for both adults and children to participate in.
Upstairs features a custom-built western red cedar sauna room. Marvel at the one-of-a-kind, massive custom-carved support log, which features bears, eagles, owls, and raccoons. Enjoy the view from the huge deck or soak in the hot tub beneath a gazebo. The 220 degree southern-exposure view allows for viewing spectacular sunrises, as well as sunsets.
Entertain outdoors on the huge open deck, or beneath the large covered porch, where there are two custom-built picnic tables for your enjoyment. Adjacent to the covered porch is a large charcoal grill for cooking outside.
The Lazy Bear Lodge is situated on a mostly level ridge lot. This means that parking and outdoor playing are not a problem at the Lazy Bear Lodge. There is also a security gate for your peace of mind. Located on The Ridge in the Homestead East subdivision, and featuring underground utilities, the Lazy Bear Lodge sleeps 12 adults and is ideal for achieving the perfect mix of both a peaceful and fun-filled family getaway.
