The Learning Circle (TLC) is a government funded TRIO program serving 140 of Mount Ida College's undergraduate students.
The Learning Circle (TLC) is a government funded TRIO program and is considered one of the best “deals” on campus. We are funded by the federal government so that we can provide free services to students who want to get the most out of college, both academically and socially. We offer individual coaching sessions and group workshops, social activities and cultural events. Our goal is to help you succeed in the classroom, enjoy your experience at the College, and deal with any unexpected problems or pressures that might come your way.
The Learning Circle is open to students who are:
•Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programs
•Serious about their education
•First generation college students; or income-eligible; or have a disability
•Able to benefit from the services we offer
