Description

The Lemonade Bakery has been baking peanut, nut, and egg free cakes, cookies, cupcakes and many other sweet treats for customers in the Washington, DC area for eleven years. We have now opened a storefront at 9410 Main Street in Manassas, Virginia. Our menu changes weekly and is posted on Facebook. To order ahead, best to order through our website. For custom orders or delivery, order at least one week in advance--we do get booked during the holidays so order as early as possible. We look forward to seeing you at the bakery!

I frequently get the sugar cookies and cinnamon rolls from here. They are both delicious, and you would never know they weren't just regular baked items. I have taken the cookies to gatherings, and they are always a big hit!
I love that everything is egg free here and the selection is wonderful. However, the sweetness is just too much in most of the items. If you guys could cut the sugar down by about 30% that might be more in line with regular pastries.
I'm a repeat customer and am always amazed at how good their cakes are. I've walked in to make purchases, as well as had custom cakes delivered to my home. Either way, they never disappoint.
My husband ordered a cake for my birthday and it was AMAZING! Not only was it perfectly decorated and absolutely delicious, lemonade bakery made sure he was able to pick it up yesterday a Monday! even though they were closed. I’ve always loved lemonade bakery and like to pop in and grab some treats, and now they’ve solidified what a wonderful group of people work there as well.
We love this bakery and I could walk in and not worry about my allergies. My husband and I hired them to do our wedding cake and cake for our guests. Everything was delicious and were able to work with us and answer all of our questions. Definitely would ask them to do more cakes for us in the future!
My wife and child both have a couple of different food sensitivity issues. I tried my hand at baking a suitable cake for her birthday last year but was less than successful. I received my order from the Lemonade Bakery today. I found them by chance and was able to place my order online with the dietary needs I required. The staff I communicated with were very prompt and professional and explained the process well. My order was delivered to my door, they ask for a window of four hours which is more than fair but my order arrived within less than an hour of the estimate. My delivery person was James and he was very polite and professional. The cake and cupcakes we ordered were delicious and I couldn't tell any ingredients had been substituted. My wife and child were able to enjoy some birthday cake with no adverse side effect for the first time in a long time. Thank you too all the staff of the Lemonade Bakery. You have all made a little girl very happy this day. I can not recommend this shop enough after my first but definitely not last experience.
Absolute best place in Northern Virginia to get peanut-free and allergy friendly cakes and cookies. We have used them several times for peanut-free birthday cakes. The cakes are delicious and the service is always great! Just contact them they can do almost any design you need. Attached Super Mario cake from last order.
The cinnamon rolls. The CINNAMON rolls. It's like cinnamon French toast: crisp but soft, sweet without being too sweet, and a toastiness that I couldn't get enough of. The staff is also cinnamon-sweet: informative and efficient. Picking up my online order took barely one minute. Tip: you can order same day - great to make sure you get your goodies without leaving work early. I'll be back here again and again.
Most beautiful cake that was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. The photo doesn't do the taste justice, sooo delicious! We love coming to this bakery, it's our new tradition!
We were greeted with a fresh warm cookie straight out of the oven. And a sampling of their weekly flavored cupcake; Pineapple Rum. Very quaint atmosphere. The cake consistency is very light and fluffy. Not heavy in flavor or dense. Perfect balance with the buttercream frosting. And lastly, the perfect size portion, goldilocks style; just right.
