Created by the Friends of the Library in 1982, The Library Foundation's purpose is to help secure financial resources that support the collections, programs, services, technology and physical facilities of the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. The Foundation pursues this purpose by solciting philanthropic support, by providing conscientious stewardship of the assets entrusted to it, and by encouraging appropriate community partnerships.
