We dined here because of an event for my daughter’s sports team. It had been over 10 years since I have eaten here. I decided to eat from the hot and salad bar to better control my portions since it was late. There were a lot of southern food choices on the bar, mashed potatoes, rice, gravy, yams, green beans, tilapia, fried chicken, meat loaf and more. The salad bar didn’t have much on it but I was still able to make a good appetizer salad. The food I got from the hot bar was good. The staff was very friendly and nice. The store was clean. My daughter ordered a burger and fries. It looked plain but she said it was good. A couple in front of us ordered chicken livers but after checking with the kitchen was told the livers were bad and couldn’t be served. I was disappointed for him because I love chicken livers. The 4 stars is due to the bad livers. Other than that, I have no complaints. Even though I didn’t eat much, I don’t plan to return anytime soon because I’m not a fan of buffets and I wasn’t really thrilled with the menu options.
My boyfriend I recently tried the little cafe for the first time. The breakfast menu was typical, normal prices. I got pancakes & they were average pancakes, hence the 2 instead of the 1. My boyfriend got the buffet, because men. Wow, did he regret that choice. It’s in the back and just does not look appetizing. Eggs and meat were dry. It was just bad. All of this being said, pancakes are a safe call & maybe the rest of the stuff on the menu is too, just stay away from the buffet. Their staff is super friendly! They’re what you think of when you picture a family owned southern cafe
This was the first time visiting this place for breakfast. The breakfast bar was in the back of the restaurant and rather dark. The bar did not have either not enough or none of the food on it. I was getting a plate to go. I was only able to get some home fries. I was just charge for a side item because it would not weigh enough. I would not go back.
Southern food, greasy not many options from non pork eaters. Server very friendly, great sweet tea. Vegetarian options: Some salad option. Must other dishes look some sorts of grease in it. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcomed Parking: Plenty parking Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty space for wheelchair

Lovely lovely little place with great service. I had some delicious pancakes and coffee here on a rainy day. Will come back again.
The waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and not cramped. The food quality was excellent and the prices reasonable in these inflationary times. Would recommend.Food: 5/5
