The Little Free Library at the Pump House Regional Arts Center provides a space for local community members to exchange books.
The Little Free Library at the Pump House Regional Arts Center is a replica of the historic Pump House building. The original Pump House building was erected in 1880 by the City of La Crosse to house the original main water pump for the community’s fire protection. In, 1977, Western Regional Arts remodeled the Pump House for its present use as a regional arts center for the visual and performing arts. In 1979, the Pump House was designated a historic building and was placed on the State and National Register.
The Little Free Library was bestowed to the Pump House by Susan Quale and constructed by Daniel Lee in 2014.
