My wife and I have been bringing our girls since they were babies. We've celebrated at least one birthday here. Now, we have a 4yo in dance and a 6yo in gymnastics. I'm always impressed with the teachers, the class structure, the cost, and the condition of the place. I would absolutely recommend for any parent looking to get their children active and tuckered out. It is well worth the cost and my girls absolutely love it. Also, the birthday parties are reasonably priced and they really do a great job. You get the sense that the staff and teachers really do enjoy their jobs.
This program has given my child the basic skills and techniques to properly and safely execute a cartwheel. Also, my daughter Sky has learned how to begin a handstand and get over the fear of falling off the high beam. She has developed a greater passion for gymnastics and is always looking forward towards her classes as well as the practice. The lovely ladies that work there are completely amazing with the kids. You can tell how passionate they are with what they do and this is why the children are so successful in developing their skills.
We had our son’s Superhero Birthday Celebration at The Little Gym of Columbia yesterday, and it was a huge hit!! The Little Gym is named Best Gym Party by Parents Magazine, and I can totally see why! They do all of the setup and clean up, and Miss Hanna and Miss Merissa pitched in to help wherever needed during our party time. I didn’t have to lift a finger! I was also impressed by all the different activities that were planned during the kids’ playtime. They all had a great time. Several parents also shared with me that they were now considering having parties for their children here. Highly recommend!!
I enjoy that make up days don't expire. We travel a lot and I'm chronically ill, so being able to sometimes switch days really helps! It is great to have somewhere to get tiny babies moving and bonding and older tots to tumble and play freely and safely with all that energy! It's great for kid socialization and making mom friends. We love the way the classes are conducted- the structure and the teacher approach the use of music- and the safety features of the gym itself. Our daughter loves the parties and events too. Every interaction with staff is pleasant and everything is so organized and clean- you make it easy to love the little gym.
We found The Little Gym by accident, but it has been such a treat. My daughter has been going for about three months now. I am so thankful to have found something for someone so young. She loves all of the equipment and the ability to just run around and have a good time. I love the instruction, meeting other parents, getting good child development tips, and of course, watching her have a blast. The entire staff is so friendly and responsive. It's pretty amazing to see how they do what they say they will and how they remember names from week to week. It's a family tradition that my husband enjoys almost as much as my daughter.
We recently had our sons fourth birthday party at the Little Gym Columbia. I loved that we were able to show up and everything was taken care of. The room was decorated, the party started on time and I did not have to worry about the kids getting hurt because there were two teachers leading the class. I also loved that the activities played on the theme of the party. After the party was over the teachers bagged up the gifts for easy transport to the car. Overall everyone, including the parents had an amazing time. My son is also a member and does Wonder Kids and Funny Bugs both are also amazing programs!
I highly recommend Little Gym! Little Gym provides an opportunity for my toddler to interact with other children and learn critical social skills such as sharing and taking turns. I also love the physical aspect - my son gets to climb, swing, and explore in ways that he can't do at home or in daycare. The different activities and equipment arrangements each week make every class fresh and exciting for him and me too!. We also just hosted my son's 3rd birthday party here and had a ball! The staff did ALL the work - from keeping the kids entertained, to serving all the food and cleaning up the aftermath. They go out of their way to ensure the very best experience - money well spent!!
We had my son's fourth birthday party here and it was perfect. We would 100% do it there again. The whole process leading up to the party was simple and the kids had the absolute best time at the party. They got to interact with each other some, but also had some time to play with things on their own. The two party helpers maintained high energy, were great with the kids, and definitely made sure the party was enjoyable for everyone.
The teachers make everything fun for the kids. You can tell they really care about their classes and the improvements their students make each week. I like that they provide us with information on the different programs / series that they work on each month. My daughter has been going here since she was a baby and absolutely loves it!
We can't say enough positive things about The Little Gym - Columbia. My daughter does a gymnastics class and my son does a parent/child class. The instructors are amazing, full of energy, and really seem to understand the science behind the curriculum. Both of my kids love it!
