We are a full service dog grooming salon.

Description

We offer many different services from tail dying to haircuts. Everything ranges on prices due to the size and breed of the dog and sometimes how long it takes. We like to say it can take 4-6 hours due to the amount of groomers we have, how long it takes the dogs to dry before the haircut and then the length of time it takes to do the actual groom.

Groomer was very prompt, did our dog's nails without delay, and when doggie was returned to us gave us a full report on how the procedure wentdog is older and there are some concerns. Will definitely be coming back. Also, price is half what I paid the vet's office!
I’ve been taking my 7 year old dog here for grooming for about the last 1.5 years, and I am not sure why I bothered to do it myself before! They do an awesome job with him! He’s likely a Jack Russell/ American Bulldog mix, so he doesn’t need much of the big grooming, but he does have skin allergies, and their hypoallergenic shampoo is great! He never has any issues. They do a great job with his nails, despite his deep dislike of having his paws touched. They are also VERY reasonably priced. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Love this place. Very reasonable prices. I've had two different dogs come here for grooming and have had 0 problems. Well run, great staff and service. Very small and awkward parking lot, but it's a quaint shop. Definitely would recommend.
I will bring my dachshund here for the rest of her life. They take amazing care of her. I've never once been disappointed with their service. We moved away from kirkwood but I drive out of my way just so she can get groomed here. We love Little House of dogs! :
Two stars as the staff were very nice. Spoke at length to the front desk worker about what I wanted - a long puppy cut. Picked up my dog and he was unrecognizable his fur was so short. He has pink skin that burns easily so he needs longer fur. I spent COVID brushing out his coat to avoid mattes - that was worthless. Extremely disappointed.
I like that the dogs aren't always kept in cages the entire time when not actively being groomed, but I don't like how long it takes for service. I've gone here a couple of times and had it be 5-7 hours for my dog to be finished. It shouldn't take that long to groom a dog, he practically pulled me out the door and was upset and exhausted. Overbooking is clearly a real problem here. I moved on to try other groomers this was my first one ever and realized that these people were really not very good. Sometimes their staff was a little snappish. Their prices are above average. Acceptable quality cuts.
The price I was told over the phone was different from what I was charged. I dropped my dog off at 9am and he wasn't finished until 4pm! He was very nervous while there, peeing twice and requiring several baths, and not letting them cut his nails. They rudely let me know, several times, how difficult he was to work with. We've never had that experience with our previous groomer nor vet, so I'm chalking it up to a poor bedside manner on their part, at least towards my dog. Also, I specifically asked for his head/ears to be trimmed up and they weren't--ended up having to do that myself at home. I should've saved myself $71 and done it all myself.
Our Teddy Bear, Bichon Frise-Shih Tzu mix has been away at college with our daughter this past semester. She hadn’t been groomed for over 2 months and Little House of Dogs were able to take her for a grooming over Christmas Break. We were afraid she might have to be buzzed, but they did a magnificent job grooming her so she still looked great!
