The Lodge at Linden Oaks

Posting this here since there is no way to officially review the entire community. As far as on base housing goes, stay away from linden oaks! To start with, the community is filled with flies to no end. To the point where you can't even enjoy being outside during the day in summer. Roaches are are common as well, to which I was told they are water bugs I'm from the south and know the difference. Initially coming in, the staff are welcoming and helpful. That all ends the day you move in. No one answers the phones half the time, the staff are rude and talk down to you. Anytime you bring a concern they barely seem competent enough to use a computer to "access your account". Maintenance folks have no actual training it seems like, just hired hands who cant even turn a lightbulb. As far as the pool goes, it is dated and always dirty. The mushroom water feature for the kids didn't work all this summer mind you they had all covid season to get it fixed. The lawn chairs are sun bleached and rotting. Overall, I'm sure when this community was first created, it WAS nice. But years of neglect are showing, and it's sad considering they take your entire BAH for it. Honestly if you are an E6 or above, looks elsewhere as your BAH will go alot further out in the real estate market. I personally cannot wait to move out in 6 months when my lease is up.

Do not live here. My wife and I lived here for just a year. In that year, my wife and dogs were attacked numerous times by loose dogs, and my wife was bitten once and had to get rabies post exposure shots due to it. I had to get post exposure rabies shots for a cat bite as well because the people feed the stray cats, and as a result, there are strays everywhere. Corvias plays ignorant and doesn't fix a single thing. They say it's the mps and animal controls problem, which it isn't. Anywhere else, people would get evicted for the things that occur on this neighborhood. If you value safety, do not live here.

I can't find a place to review the whole community but the power has been out for over 5 hours, and it is a daily occurrence. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

As far as the gym goes, basic cable machines. No free weights. Not a big place, about the size of a standard living room. Never busy when I go there after 6 PM.

Theres 4 computers and a printer, game room, playroom for you g children, gym, and workout equipment. Oh and a coin laundry! It is typically occupied by teenagers, but from my experiences they are nice and will let you use the computer or something if you ask. Gotta remember your key fob

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful lodging with recreation rooms, theater room, computer access, gym and laundry area. Clean bathroom for changing and showering after your workout and an indoor half court of basketball.

Very abundant in opportunities for killing boredom, or an average task, but I can't give 5 stars because the laundry Matt portion I vist occasionally is dirty often being poorly maintenanced/managed.
