Best breakfast we’ve ever had! We both got the build your own omelette with a side of pancakes. So incredibly delicious. Our new favorite breakfast spot! Omelettes we’re perfectly cooked with the appropriate amount of toppings to egg ratio and the pancakes were fluffy and very flavorful. Dakota was our server and we can see why some request him, great service and wonderful experience all around. We can’t wait to return next year
The food was ok. I was expecting to taste more “homemade”. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they were very busy and they seemed to be understaffed. The French Toast was made with a sliced bread, super thin and it was not crunchy at all. Same for the Waffle. Super fluffy, not crunchy and it was very airy. The taste was fine, but overall it was ok. I was just expecting everything to be a bit more “tasty”, “homemade”.
Best breakfast place in or near Lake George. Build your own omelet was great. They make the food very good. The pancakes were ok. The hot chocolate was very delicious and well made with whip cream and chocolate chips. The eggs Benedict is good. Very nice presentation. I would highly recommend Lone Bull Pancake & Steak House.
Was just at the restaurant over this past weekend leading up to Labor Day. I’m sorry, but I’m baffled by most of the comments. I didn’t find the food to be delicious at all. Very basic. Syrup was watery. I had the French connection- eggs were dry, French toast seemed to be from a bag or box from supermarket, and not a very good brand. Other family with me did not enjoy their meals. Service was good, our waitress was attentive.
I’ll start off with the positive, the staff was friendly and the service was good. I love breakfast and I was excited to try the pancakes: it’s in the name so they should be great right? Unfortunately they were flavorless and tasted like a box mix. The coffee tasted like instant coffee although it was nice that they brought out the extra potI feel bad that I didn’t drink it but the thought was there
Waitress was not happy that we had to ask that the table be wiped again before we sat to eat. Then was so quick to take our order kept coming over asking if we were ready. Bothersome. And then couldn't wait to bring us our bill. Crumbly scrambled eggs. And is that how you really serve your eggs with cheese...Slap 2 slices of cheese on them. No wonder they weren't busy. Don't waste your time or money.
NOT kid friendly and the prices are not as advertised online. First there are no kids menus. Maybe I’m spoiled with crayons for my 7 year old. We asked for our fruit cup early for the little kids. We could see them premaid next to us. 15 minutes later we asked again and watched her walk over to get them. Finally she brings them over and forgets one. Finally our meals come out and one adult meal is just not there. The waitress didn’t notice and seemed surprised that she just skipped someone. 20 minutes later, after all the kids were done eating the waitress comes back and confirms that the eggs Benedict will be out in just another minute. We then canceled the order as the kids started getting impatient. Then they made a big deal about “taking off” the egg meal that we NEVER got. I do not recommend. 9 people and breakfast was $200 when 3 kids ate only 2 pancakes. Kid-friendliness: Do NOT bring kids here! No kids menu and $10 for 2 pancakes.
A staple when it comes to visiting Lake George! The restaurant was super accommodating when it came to us even though we were a large party arriving near closing. I truly appreciate how amazing this place and the food is! Thanks again for an amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back!
Been over 40 years since I was here last. I had the Mountain of Cakes and while it was great, I could not finish it. The wait was a bit long with only half the restaurant being utilized.
Nice place, been here forever, like 50years or more, been here many years ago, was glad to see still in business, had an omelet and sausage and some buttermilk pancakes which were good, betterhalf had cinnamon french toast, with bacon she said was ok, a little dry, she put a lot of syrup. Service was very good, but I had to ask for a clean fork and knife, and table was a little sticky, but food good so I would come back. Kid-friendliness: Great for families, Parking: Plenty of parking
