Comfort food crafted by a true artist. So happy Market Grill reopened. Literally can’t go wrong with anything. Care and quality are the secret ingredients, their love and pride for food immediately jumó out at you with every bite. Regulars know, if you haven’t tried them yet, take your time to head out to Monrovia and give them a shot, you won’t regret it.
Market Grill was by far the best lunch spot in Monrovia, hands down, and I was so sad when they had to close. It says a lot about a restaurant and team that years later I would still regularly check their Facebook page in hopes they were re-opening. If you haven't been to Market Grill before, please do yourself a favor and go to their new location. The staff is amazing and the menu is full of perfectly executed classics with a Market Grill twist, always delicious. I have had just about everything on the menu and haven’t had anything that didn’t live up to expectations. They just brought their homemade soup back at the new Gem City location !!!, and it is always a must-order. I have tried a few of their rotating specials recently Beer Battered Cod Sandwich, Shrimp Po Boy and both were excellent. Forewarning, the Lemon Mint Potato Salad and homemade Ranch will ruin you for any others. Can’t recommend this place enough and so happy to have them back in Monrovia!
This is the best place to eat. The service is quick and the workers are super nice. The food is delicious. It's our favorite place for date night.
Awesome place to get a good hot sandwich or burger. The chef is super creative and the specials always are great! The bar is chill and makes good drinks. It has a locals vibe with a pool table in the back for those who play. Parking: Street parking and public lots on the next block
The market Grill never disappoints! Everything is delicious! Best place for the best hamburgers and hot dogs. All so fresh and super tasty
They always have a unique offering on their menu. You cannot go wrong with the weekly specials. The food is excellent as is the service.Food: 5/5
I ordered the beyond burger with a side of red cabbage salad. Burger was delicious and service was great. My coworkers also enjoyed the sandwiches they ordered
Best sweet potato fries of my life. Perfect burger. The atmosphere of a dive bar with great food. Parking: Street parking and public lots only. Can be challenging.
Seriously best chicken sandwich ever!! I have waited almost 45 minutes for one at lunch and do not regret it for a second, they are just that good. If you are coming here between 11 am and 2 pm, they state that it is best to call ahead since, like I said, the wait can be eternal. There is a beautiful park across the street where you can sit and eat or they also have inside seating with refillable coke productsfor those who care.
Sandwiches are awesome. Huge portions that don't skimp on toppings. The pumpkin Italian sausage soup was one of the best soups I've had in my life. You know after biting into the food that if you were to make this at home you would have to go to Whole Foods and drop money on some high quality meat and produce.
