Family owned and run farm in Yorktown. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Fall pumpkins, gourds, and apples! Tomatoes and corn in season. Shop local for Thanksgiving!
I stopped by almost by accident last week and picked up some gorgeous strawberries, blueberries and nectarines. They were sooo delicious and fresh that they lasted until yesterday -- 6 full days, and would have been longer if they hadnt been eaten. Usually grocery store berries last 3 ir 4 days tops and are tasteless. Im going to make this stop weekly from now on.
Fabulous farm stand. The fruits and veggies looked so good, presentation is everything! The prices are reasonable, which is why I bought a good variety! Mark was a very nice and knowledgeable employee. I will definitely return!
Meadows Farm sells their own locally grown produce, as well as a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. They also have beautiful spring flowers and plants.
Beautiful & Delicious figs! Probably the best ones since I moved to USA… Plums are great as well, We will definitely come back for more :
I believe the same family that runs the farmstand also has a local farm where they get most of their produce. I asked when the ears of corn for sale were picked, and they said "this morning"! Doesn't get fresher than that and it was crisp, sweet, and delicious - no butter or salt necessary!
Ridiculous that they only take cash or check- planned on buying a lot more - I never have cash- oh well I will shop somewhere else.
Unexpected stop but well worth it. Fresh strawberries and produce.
Meadows Farm is the go-to place in Yorktown for fresh seasonal produce. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the products are uniformly good. Visitors would do well to pay attention to labeling; they mark which products are grown locally and which are brought in.
Looked decent enough but they only take cash, and the guy in front of me at the ATM had his card charged, but received no money. I ran, didn't pass go.
