I hired the firm a while back on some legitimately false charges. Agg. assault with a deadly weapon ,continuous family violence and impeding and airway. I was worried I would see prison time , even with no priors. I was represented by Dean, which had left and started his own firm soon after. I then had Suzy and then Matt was the final representation of mine. Matt Peacock was great to understand my case in such a short time. What I felt he lacked in experience, he more than made up for with intellect and thorough listening. He actually knew criminal law believe it or not It seemed every attorney I talked to aside from the Merlin Firm didn’t even know their job well, at all. He was able to get 2 of my felony charges completely dropped the more serious onesand after 3 years I can get the impeding an airway charge dropped after a successful completion of differed probation. I’m able to keep my life and license of plumbing. I won’t be a convicted felon and I truly am glad. The only problem I ever had with the firm, was that they have these “legal representatives” paralegals I’m guessing and they just guess about the law. They try everything in their power to not have to give the attorney the phone, I paid good money and I would like be able to consult him/her anytime I feel appropriate. They told me differed probation would show up as a conviction until probation was complete, which is not true. I get they can’t put ever minuscule call through to a very busy attorney, but at least find the right answer before talking out of your head. Thanks for helping me keep my life Matt!
From my first meeting with Medlin until the final resolution of my case I was beyond satisfied. The attention to detail and communication throughout the process was first class. I had no doubt that my attorney Matt Peacock actually cared about me as a person and not just another client. There was never any doubt that my case was in the best hands possible. Matt's legal assistant Angela Gardner kept me immediately informed on any issue relating to my case and when I had questions I was responded to immediately. Medlin far exceeded my expectations. Gabriell Assigned me to my lawyers, our consultation was the reason I decided to go through with the firm. She was very easy to talk compassionate not like any other other law firm I called they just didn’t sound like they cared just wanted the money. She listen and explained everything perfectly thank you to her! Also, thank you Will, Angela, and Malinda y’all have be so helpful and amazing they got my case dismissed the process wasn’t stressful not one bit they communicated and answered every question I had so well made the experience much more bearable 10/10 from me!
