The company consists of six flour mills, ten country grain elevators, popcorn facility, bakery/mix plant, two trucking companies, a truck repair garage and a building maintenance property group.
Today, D. Ford Mennel represents the fifth generation of Mennel leadership. The company currently has six flour mills producing a full range of hard, soft and spring wheat flours; ten country grain elevator locations handling wheat, corn, and soybeans; two trucking companies, and a truck repair garage. We have a handful of employees that represent second, third and even fourth generations of their families in the work force. We have outstanding milling facilities, “A” grades from BRC, and an envious safety record.
