The Midland School is a non-profit, private special education school serving students in northern and central New Jersey.
The Midland School is a comprehensive special education provider serving the individual social, emotional, academic, and career education needs of children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to develop a strong and vibrant online community that will expand positive energy and support for the school. Membership is open to parents of students, current students and alumni, and both current and former staff members. Extended family and friends are subject to verification protocols and may be denied access in order to protect student privacy.
Our mission is to provide quality programs that enable our students to reach their highest level of achievement and independence to become contributing members of their communities.
Traditional service models, speech therapy, occupational therapy, social skills instruction, integration of assistive technology, individualized behavior management plans, and comprehensive transition services that prepare students for the outside world with a program that develops skills for both work and independent living.
