Originally established in 1944, The Miner's Beer Garden has a long history as a local, family owned and operated watering hole. One of the oldest bars in Dickson City, Miner's is also one of the town's best kept secrets. It sits in the back of the "Flats" where its location originally made it an easy stop for actual miners returning from their day's labor in the coal mines nearby.
Reestablished and renovated in 2010 by Pittsburgh native and die-hard Steelers fan, John Canjar, The Miner's Beer Garden is a no fuss no muss place for everyone to kick back and enjoy themselves. Have a few rounds of your drink of choice. Listen to your favorite songs on our jukebox. Play a game of pool, darts, or even some pinball. And don't forget to come watch the game on our five flat screen tvs! Feel free to root for your favorite teams but just remember, at the "mines" you're in Steelers Country so look out for the Terrible Towels!
