Wonderful breakfast on Mission Ave. The pancakes are delicious - the burritos are great. The eggs with rosemary potatoes were so good. Fresh squeezed orange juice tasted delightful! We eat here every time we visit mission beach. The place does fill up so go early or be patient.Food: 5/5
Loved everything about this little, quaint spot. The atmosphere was homey and comfortable. The space is small but inviting. Our waitress was great! Attentive, kept up with our banter, was efficient and quick. The food was delicious! Will definitely return next time we are in town.Food: 5/5
Cozy and classy brunch spot in Mission Beach. The staff makes you feel at home, the food is warm and comfortable. Didn’t take that long to be sat, but they can be busy. They serve Mexican and American style breakfasts such as burritos, chilaquiles, egg plates, French toasts, and pancakes. The pancakes are thick, soft, and doughy in the best way. Im not even a pancake fan, but they did them so well! Nothing bad to say about the restaurant itself. The staff was attentive, helpful, and the food came out in large portions. Maybe took a while to get our coffee, the food was halfway eaten before it came out. The parking is horrible lol, but it’s like that everywhere in mission beach. We parked by the bay park and had to walk over 5 min walk. You can also pay $30 for 2 hour parking in the lot across the street.
Oh my! This place was amazing, their breakfast selection was delicious! We get the apple sausages & potatoes and my son gets the pancakes. Every time we go San Diego we try to go here because it’s just one of those spots that is a must to go to when you are in the area! The Staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. The Mission never disappoints!
Amazing! Absolutely amazing! 5 stars to every accolade you could think of. We had a great server named O, he gave us some good recommendations but I already had my sights set on the very think he recommended first, the French toast bread made in house. Idk how in the hell we stumbled upon this place but it was the last beachside restaurant of our trip to San Diego. Our experience at The Mission gave me a clear and distinct understanding of the expression, the last shall be first. Hands down the best restaurant during our visit. Thank you
If you only have one chance to get breakfast in San Diego then make this your destination. All of their breakfast items are fantastic but the pancakes and French toast are definitely the most appealing to the eye. Their traditional breakfast is great as well but the breakfast burrito is my personal favorite. Good coffee is important and they don’t fall short in that regard so the coffee snobs in your group will approve of eating here. If you notice a long line just know that it moves quickly and is worth the wait. There’s a small parking lot across the street and street parking along Mission Blvd. Parking: There’s a small parking lot across the street, street parking or you could walk from Belmont Park if you don’t mind walking 1.1 miles.
The service was really good but the food is way is excellent. I always get the hanger steak and eggs just dip it in the horseradish sauce they make. The only issue I had was the potatoes were a little rosemary heavy this time but still enjoyable. Get a side of their tomatillo sauce for the potatoes, it’s goes really nice.Food: 5/5
Always love to visit this place. Wonderful scenery, wonderful food, and a pretty clean beach. Just watch out for the benders on the sidewalk, overcharging for jewelry. My gf was to nice to say no so she paid 30 bucks for 2 little bracelets. Other than that, enjoy the beach!
Great food. Pancakes and French toast the best. Only hard part is the parking. Public lot $$$. Find street parking if you can. Been going here for years when visiting. Food: 5/5
