Cloth Diapering and Natural Parenting store - run by a real life mommy and daddy!
We have some great news to share with you!!!
We are so excited to finally be OPENING our brick and mortar store. 2 years ago when my husband and I first started our simple cloth diapering business it was to meet a need, both in our community, and for us! We started cloth diapering when our first daughter was 3 days old. We had to use cloth, disposables were just out of our budget. We were so happy that cloth worked so well for us, and we found ourselves constantly sharing cloth with our friends and encouraging them to give cloth diapers a try. Not only did they save us money, but they were so much better for our babies. As we learned, we continued to share our knowledge with others. My husband was the one who decided that if we were talking about diapers, we might as well be selling them too! So our little business was born! We were renting a little apartment. The room that would have been our babies room became the office, and she just had to stay with us! We started with just one shelf, and only a handful of brands!
That initial investment for our little store was huge for us, but tiny in comparison to other stores! We slowly added to it as we grew! (We now carry over 40 brands of natural parenting and baby items.) We moved from there to a small house where we outgrew the bedroom and had to move our store into the living room. This meant our couch was pushed into the kitchen, which worked out for us! We always seemed to eat on the couch anyway. We had a second child, and experienced a boom in our business while still having it in our home on an appointment only basis for our customers. Fast forward to today… We have moved! We are now in a gorgeous century old house in the city at a great location that is a connecting point for some of the larger cities around us. Its easy to find, and moms are loving stopping by while running their errands. We have two very open large rooms in the front that are the 'store' space and a large room upstairs for classes and activities.
Within the month of September 2014 we will be seeing major changes as we finally OPEN!!! Thank you all for your support!
