Lots to immerse yourself in this Christmas season. Four story house filled with high-end vendors. Hot cider, Mimosas, and sausage/cheese set-up for sampling. Live music outside by Santa and his elf. Christmas decor, handmade jewelry, souvenirs, soaps, prints, and wooden signs are some items I saw. Being new to this place, I was very confused where, how, and who to pay. Because of this, I left empty-handed.
Lots of great things to look at and your finds will be great
So many artists and great stuff to see. Love the aesthetic and thoughtfully arranged decor and gifts.
This building houses several different vendors in a consignment/flea market setup. Lots of delicate ceramics in certain areas. Lots of small gift items with beach or coastal theme. No kid items. Some pet items like clothes or decorated collars. Three sets of stairs lead to different sections. No elevator. I went alone and I might bring one kid with me next time but not all of them due to the delicate items and narrow path ways. I will say the great local art pieces are mostly coastal or New Orleans theme. If you want to see some local art and decor, save time to browse through this shop. Open on Monday.
Fun place to browse if you like local artwork and coastal-themed decor. Good gifts available as well.
I enjoyed our visit. Lots of local artists goods. Little pricey but I'm on a fixed income. I did buy a pillow cute cover.
A good variety of quality arts and crafts from locals
Three floors full of amazing inventory, home made items for sale. Everything is very clean. Employees are very friendly. Reasonable prices.
The shops themselves are great. Fun, kitchy stuff and original art everywhere. Lots of items with a beach/water theme. Very cool, renovated historical building. No indoor toilets. You have to use the porta-potties in the back parking lot. No handicapped parking unless you can traverse a gravel parking lot. No handicapped entrance or way to get from floor to floor. Now, the bad part. The ENTIRE time my friend and I were shopping and browsing, a little girl, I think a shopkeeper's daughter, followed us. She darted in front of us, behind us, between us, almost knocking us over at one point. We definitely felt as if we were being watched. That's a tough position in which to put a 9 year old. It was so uncomfortable and weird that neither of us have any desire to return.
Eclectic mix of home decor, art and gifts.
