It all started in early 1994 when after seeing a need for quality bakery products that could offer a better alternative to local supermarkets that offered low quality baked goods, Mike Milnicsuk and his wife MaryAnn started The Country Bakery.
And for the past 22 years, generations of Point Pleasant residents and visitors have been enjoying fresh home baked goods you cannot really find anymore. The kind of fresh baked breads and homemade desserts that you remember as a kid like handmade donuts, homemade pies and cakes, and much, much more
Today, as new owners we are proud to keep the same principals that have made The Country Bakery a Point Pleasant icon, but have also added even added a few of our own new items we are sure you will come to enjoy.
Our products use the finest ingredients, many locally sourced in Ocean County, NJ. We will work hard everyday to ensure 100% freshness and taste in everything you purchase in our bakery.
Bob DeLuca aka Bobby”D”Baker was born in Passaic NJ and raised in Lyndhurst NJ. Being raised in an Italian family Bob was always in the kitchen with his Mother and Grandmother and it is where his passion for baking began.
Bob graduated from Fairleigh Dickerson University. After many years working in the construction and telecom industries, Bob realized his true passion was in pastry and cake design.
Bob became a student of ICE Culinary School in New York and The Center for Advance Pastry Studies at the Institute of Culinary Education NYC. He has studied under world renowned Master Pastry Chef s / Cake artists;Tobba Garret, Kathryn Gordon, Sam Mason, Lisa Mansour, Catherine Lau, Ewald Notter, Lauri Ditunno, Stevi Auble, Tariq Hanna, Anil Rohira
Bob’s specialized in baking and cake designing, along with creating original contemporary, classic & sculpted cakes. His cake repertoire includes wedding cakes, celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pastries. As baker and a prolific cake artist his skills and passion collide.
Bob resides in Freehold NJ with his wife Vikki and his best friend, his golden retriever Jake. He has a daughter, a stepson and stepdaughter who are all his BIGGEST fans
