Our mission is to provide a creative outlet for intelligent and thought-provoking live theatrical pieces, both established works of yesterday and new works of today.
We have staged over 20 productions since opening our doors in May '08, including the Pittsburgh premieres of "My Name is Rachel Corrie" and "The Year of Magical Thinking". Other notable productions include: "A Christmas Carol", "SOUL: A New Musical", "The Bad Seed", "The Rimers of Eldritch", "Psycho Beach Party", "Moll Flanders", "Far Away", "Lysistrata", "Come Back to the Five & Dime, Jimmy Dean", and "The Mousetrap". In addition, we produce a highly successful new play festival every July featuring new works by local playwrights.
We have two spaces - a versatile 60-seat mainstage theater and a traditional proscenium 40-seat theater. We do NOT rent space to outside groups.
Tickets to all shows are $15. Reservations are strongly encouraged as we often sell-out in advance. There is (usually) a wine-and-cheese reception following our opening night performance.
