Don't judge this restaurant by the outside! We weren't sure what we were walking into when we pulled up but went off Google reviews. Excellent service, great menu and amazing food! If you find yourself in Eunice and want some authentic LA food, this is your spot. Pictured gumbo, loaded shrimp baked potato, Cajun eggplant and beignet bites
Omg my husband and I had to take a break we were going there so much for breakfast. Their biscuits and gravy are amazing.. The pecan praline pancakes too. They're just all around awesomeFood: 5/5
Bad food, high prices, and a waitress that doesn’t know boundaries. They gave me raw hash browns, took an hour to give us any type of food, they were out of parts of the our meals and only told us after. All of that with a waitress telling us her life story when we truly didn’t want to hear it. The waitress also disappeared several times so we just sat there.
The food was great, the atmosphere was very nice, the owner stopped at our table and spoke with us shortly and asked if we were satisfied, the waitress was attentive and all and all was a great experienceFood: 5/5
Gumbo is on point! Spent 2 weeks in the area and tried chicken and sausage gumbo at MANY places. Happened upon this place for lunch one day and let me tell you it was yummy. The "cup" is more a bowl and the "bowl" could be used for a mixing bowl it is so big, but we were not upset that we had leftovers for later.
Epic fail. Waited an hour, still no food, ordered the chicken gumbo as appetizers and the Rouge was burnt. My daughter ordered the breakfast and they brought raw hashbrowns telling us they were cooked just light, no they are raw. Please learn some basic cooking techniques. So, I ordered the shrimp etoufee potato. I was no impressed. I have had better Cajun food in the middle of Missouri. Guess I expected to much from the heart of Louisiana. Will not be returning for a second meal.
Excellent food. I tried multiple dishes and left stuffed and satisfied. Real good cooking. The only other thing I gotta say is: Good gravy, good food, good God let's eat.
Homestyle cooking and very friendly staff. Seems to be a local favorite.
Food was excellent and service even better. This was my first time there. Will be going back.
As always great food great service in town for Mardi GrasFood: 5/5
