Great spot! It’s located in a shared space with a bike shop so it’s a cool atmosphere. It’s near a yoga studio so there is quite a bit of foot traffic on weekend and it’s a small space. But there is seating outside and inside. The coffee is great and if you buy the big glass bottle you get it filled with their nitro cold brew which is great. The food was also fantastic.
This is the best nitro cold brew that I have ever had. There is something about the roast of their coffee and the compliment of the velvety texture that the nitro gas brings to the mixture. The combination makes the cold brew taste very chocolatey and smooth, think chocolate milk without the sweetness.
I ordered the breakfast sandwich as I normally do. I’ve noticed the sandwich has gotten smaller over time and they are no longer adding micro greens but you can get “mesclun greens” for an additional $1….well, that’s what I got for $1 extra….$10.50 for a mini sandwich. I am disappointed & will not be returning.
I’ve been a fan / customer of Nitro Bar for about 4 years now and always have a great experience. Their food is consistently awesome, even though it’s not the quickest. But good things take time. The food is always delicious in my opinion and they get creative with their specials. Love the coffee too, always good! Highly recommend!Recommended dishesAvocado Toast, Chocolate Bar, Dirty Wafer
Great coffee. Breakfast burritos are always great; though they usually take a little while to make but they’re worth it! All the baristas here actually know how to make a latte which is great. The quality is really good for all the food and drinks. Wi-Fi is available and it is fast and good without weird like Cox barrier restrictions like some places have. Bathroom is clean and photogenic. Always extra supplies in there so there’s never like not enough paper. Cute house plants all over. This place is perfect for take-away/to-go but I don’t usually. I like to dine in. There are a few cons to staying in but nothing bad enough to change my rating below 5 stars. They’re pretty much only a take out place now Post-COVID which I don’t like as much. They no longer offer ceramic mugs, you need to bring your own cup. They accept reusable mugs but it’s only 25¢ off I feel like if I’m buying a $7.50 latte, My own cup should be way more discounted They sell sweatshirts for $77 before tax. Maybe they are made locally by a small business, maybe the quality is great but they don’t mention it anywhere. The seating is just like a long bench with no cushions with tables that are actually pretty good to work at; I like the tables. Even if they’re a little short for the height of the bench. They used to have couches and now there’s a beverage fridge instead. They used to have decorations from the ceiling that made the light less harsh but those are gone now. That being said; it’s still great for take-away and the quality is still great. I do love it here but miss the way it was before Corona.
I gave 3 stars, because I felt like both the barristas at the time were quite unfriendly towards me. I ordered a cortado, which is supposed to be 2 shots of espresso with equal parts Milk. I got a 4 ounce cup that was half full. Meaning either it wasn't two shots, or there was no milk in it. So although the coffee itself was divine, really rich in flavour, I did not get what I paid for.
One of those place you wish you had in your neighborhood. Only seating I saw was outside. The cafe is part of Dash Bicycle Shop tucked under a white flag in between the big red signs. I had the almond milk latte with a double shot of espresso. It was bold and earthy, just how I like it. The breakfast sandwich was served between two slices of freshly baked sourdough bread. I'm coming back for that bread...holy cow it was good. My husband had the vegetarian wrap with avocado, roasted potatoes and egg if you consider that vegetarian. It looked really tasty. They do have vegetarian options that don't include egg as well.
Someone gave me a rec to this place and didn’t even know it was there. Have driven by a few times thinking it was just a bike shop but they’re two places in one - bike shop/cafe’. The sourdough breakfast sandwich w caramelized onions was next level. It gave me life! Great for glyphosate intolerant people. Employees are all mad cool and attentive. Try the sea salt maple latte - bomb
Highly recommend if you want to feel bad about yourself and the US populace for a bit. This place is pure evil. Staff and their anger towards strangers truly makes me feel sad and scared for humanity. I dare you to inquire about their bogus online ordering system if you make the dangerous journey. Their food is good, but I don't trust these angry staff to not, like, spit in it or something. Beware. They will also somehow sign you up for their obnoxious marketing emails if you pay with credit cards, and it will be impossible to unsubscribe from them. Now you can recall your horrible experience at Nitro Bar every time you check email.
Some of the best tasting coffee and friendliest people you’ll find in Providence. Doesn’t really have that atmosphere to hang out and drink your coffee, but otherwise top notch.Food: 5/5
