Different not impressed. My understanding it was pricey. Had to drive down a dirt road, goat path, for several miles to get there.
I had the honor of, not only doing all wedding party's hair, but I also was apart of the bridal party for my wonderful friend's wedding here. I really enjoyed this venue. Especially, the little 2bd/2bth house on the property. We stayed the night before, and got ready the following day. It was about 50 steps away from the reception Barn, which was AWESOME! We could use the restroom, and touch-up our make-up & hair before pictures. SUPER CONVENIENT! My only suggestions, are the fact that the venue does not include ANY tables or chairs. We would've gladly paid the additional cost if it were an option. It was SO stressful setting up the barn for over 200+ guests reception the night before... Also, the "Bridal Suite", conveniently, located in the barn/reception area, could have been set up a LOT nicer. The space, clearly doubles as storage. It didn't really matter to me either way; I did all the hair in the rental house's master bathroom, which was huge & awesome but the make-up artist used the suite, and said lighting was not good at all, and to tight & cluttered. FInally, in my opinion, the MOST important of this rant, is NO WI-FI!!! That's BC there's NO CELL SERVICE out there, for any carrier. If you have no cell service, wireless internet is a MUST. We needed to get ahold of family and friends en route to the wedding, and we just couldn't. That is the sole reason for my 4/5-rating.
It is a nice place. Facilities are clean, grounds nicely maintained. My first disappointment was with the outside serving area. The tables were so heavily covered in pollen. Multiple days if not weeks had to be wiped off the tables first and foremost. The tables where we were to eat at Friday eveningwere nicely prepared, but also appeared to have not been wiped down since the rain on Wednesday night. They large outdoor portable outdoor gas heaters would not stay on. We had to tape the control knob in the lighting position in order to keep the gas heaters lit to provide warmth for all the visitors. This was my experience Friday evening and some others for celebration on Saturday night.
My son and daughter-in-law wedding was fantastic great event there.
This place is just beautiful and breath taking..Not only is the place wonderful, but the owners are very sweet people, that love to see people being happy. We just had my daughters wedding there yesterday 10/15/16. It was Beautiful. There is so much that you can do to add little decorations to make it special for your theme. Mrs Tracy and her husband doesn't leave you hanging, they are around in case you need something or have a question. My son in law is in the Navy, and is into hunting, the country, and my daughter is a Georgia girl that loves the country, so this was prefect. They stay out there last night, they said they woke up to looking out the window seeing a doe, a 5 point buck and 3 gobblers. I can't say enough, Thank you so much Mrs Tracy for all you did, for opening this beautiful place, for your kindness. And to your husband, sorry can't remember his name, since we didn't deal with him directly that much. But your husband is as sweet and kind as you. God Bless ya'll.
Beautiful wedding took place here! My friend had a great wedding, it was a beautiful rustic barn theme. My biggest problem was the pro-trump stuff. You drive this long dirt road and the first thing I see is a trump sign. Then the staff is wearing Trump hats. Politics should stay out of my friend's wedding. I'm glad it didn't bother her but it bothered me. It doesn't matter if the proprietor has a preference. The big day is about 2 people joining and being celebrated. It was unprofessional to display something so divisive during a union
Nice place once you get there but the dirt road is brutal on your transit. So plan for an extra half hour or so to take your time.
The property is beautiful. The oak trees are the best part of the place!
