Founded in 1993, the Ohio Craft Museum is a free museum featuring contemporary fine art and craft, with a gift shop, classes and art workshops, meeting space and more. Our mission is to engage and enrich the community through high quality exhibitions.
Founded in 1963, Ohio Designer Craftsmen is a not-for-profit organization with over 2100 members. Our membership includes craft artists, educators, students, and others who appreciate fine craft.
The Ohio Craft Museum was founded by Ohio Designer Craftsmen in 1993 to host exhibitions and education programs. Located in Columbus, it is the only museum in the Midwest exclusively devoted to exhibiting and collecting fine craft. Five or six exhibitions of contemporary craft by artists from Ohio and across the United States are presented each year. Public programs include artist lectures, hands-on workshops for children and adults, and a summer day camps for children ages 6 - 18.

Open daily: 10-5 Monday through Friday, 1-4 Saturday and Sunday. November-December features extended Saturday hours, open 10-5 for the holiday season only.
