The Oilwick is a studio and exhibition space supporting emerging artists in Indianapolis.
“The Oil Wick” is a studio space just outside Fountain Square in Indianapolis, Indiana dedicated to supporting local artists and providing a space for art to thrive. Our long term goal is to bring a sense of community to the artists of Indiana, focusing on collaboration and cooperation to achieve lives focused around art. We (the artists) currently rent a small portion of the building from it’s owners Paul and Suzanne who run a pet food business in the city called “My Pet Carnivore.”
Aside from providing space for creativity we hope to eventually install a community box garden and rent out a larger portion in the back of the warehouse for gallery space and weekly art Meetups.
