The Old Spaghetti Factory

Description

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a family owned and operated restaurant founded in Portland, Oregon in 1969 by Guss and Sally Dussin. Dedicated to satisfying dining in warm surroundings, the Roseville Old Spaghetti Factory, established in 1993, is located on Sunrise Avenue between Cirby Way and Douglas Boulevard near Old Town Roseville. Originally known as Grider’s Ranch in the 1850's, the city owes its early beginnings to the railroad. In fact, the Central Pacific locomotive, The Governor Stanford, began daily service from Sacramento to Roseville on April 6, 1864, inaugurating the nation's first transcontinental line. We hope you will enjoy your visit with us and find many pleasant memories of the color and charm of Roseville.

What a great experience we had here. My wife is Italian and a snob about chain Italian restaurants. So I take her for her first visit after 40 years together. Our waitress was busy with a 12 top. So the manager John stepped in. My wife and John discussed sauces and brought her 3 little tasters of three sauces. The white clam, Alfredo and the presto Alfredo. All three were great. I changed my entree to the Crab and Lobster Ravioli with pesto Alfredo. My wife just loved the clam sauce so much she said she could have a bowl with just bread. Really great food and a great place to bring the family. She will be back. To the Tacoma location. Kid-friendliness: Great family establishment
I went to spaghetti factory when I was very young. always remembered having a great experience and you guys didn't disappoint us. First off the service was exceptional. Our Waiter and runner made our night. Our glasses were never empty. Food was hot and tasty. he kept showing up at our table side asking if everything was okay. He was so good. I had to tell the manager how good it was. Its been hard to find service like we had. Our party started with cheese bread. The marinara sauce was really good and I love dipping the cheese bread into the sauce. The house salad was like a creamy ranch pesto sauce. The Caesar salad was perfectly made very classic. the minestrone soup was also very classic and tasty I would order it again. My shrimp fettuccine was perfectly cooked with fairly large shrimp. Everybody at the party thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I loved the ice cream at the end. I wish more restaurants would adapt to this style. The price of the food was perfect. I will definitely be going back.
We went to dinner to celebrate my birthday. I was not upset, but my family was irritated it was not acknowledged after being told. Food was fantastic and service good. The lighting inside as the sun is going down is to dark. I basically remained blind throughout the meal because the sun shining in made it like night blindness while driving.
The Atmosphere was warm and comfortable, The service was excellent, the Food was delicious. The cheesy garlic bread was very delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The prices were very affordable. Parking: Handicap parking is located right in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: They have a couple of arcade games for kids to play. Wheelchair accessibility: Everything except the upstairs dining area is wheelchair accessible. The outdoor patio is wheelchair accessible as well as the bar and downstairs dining area.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. I get the spaghetti with brown butter and mizithra cheese . The meal comes with soup or salad. I get the soup because it is very tasty minestrone. You also get a scoup of ice cream for dessert. I like the spumoni. We also get the broccoli with brown butter and mizithra cheese...a very delicious way to eat it.
Food was delicious, the staff was amazing! We went with a bigger group and our server had to deal with a couple other large groups and she was very good at juggling each table. I feel like she was stretched a little thin but she handled it very well, the only negative thing I would say were the other customers, they weren't as friendly and didn't notice how busy it was for the servers and the other employees in the restaurant. The food was delicious a couple mistakes were made but they were fixed right away and I was very happy with our service. I've been here plenty of times, over many years with family and I've never had a negative issue with the restaurant or the employees I would 100% recommend them!
I personally did not enjoy the salad or Alfredo shrimp. The salad was very plain and the shrimp had no taste. My son did not care for the alfredo or the salad either. The other party in our group ordered the BLT salad and would not recommend. I personally will not order this again if we ever come back!Food: 1/5
Sacramento Location. Great for meeting with friends. The portion size of the ravioli was a small portion but that’s OK. The deliciousness of the lobster and crab was fantastic. Who doesn’t love spumoni? I sure do and I love pistachio will you visit the old spaghetti factory regularly when we are visiting around California everything’s a little bit more in price, so why argue about it. When we like it, we Pay for it. And we do.
Love the Mizithra and brown butter broccoli and the Mizithra and brown butter spaghetti. Both are very tasty and delicious! Spumoni ice cream is also very delicious! Prices have definitely gone up like most other restaurants, so visiting isn’t as often as I like Service was good, friendly and fast Restaurant was clean
My wife, my in-laws, and I decided to celebrate my wife's birthday at The Old Spaghetti Factory. As we walked in, the dim lighting caught our attention, making it quite challenging to read the menus. When the server arrived to take our drink order, it was apparent that she wasn't in the best mood – her lack of enthusiasm was palpable. The place started filling up a bit, but it wasn't packed. Surprisingly, the noise level was quite high due to all the conversations at various tables. While the service and ambiance didn't leave a favorable first impression, the true test was yet to come – the food. I'm a loyal fan of the Mizithra & Browned Butter pasta, and I opted for the Hearty Meal with Angel Hair pasta instead of spaghetti. As always, the dish was delicious, and that's the reason for my 4-star rating. However, the service and ambiance dragged the rating down from a potential 5 stars. When the final bill came to $100 including the tip, I couldn't help but feel that for this price point, the service and ambiance should have matched the quality of the food.
