First time at Sal's I thought it was very very friendly Place good people good meat department with a deli good produce has a lot of frozen food sections a little bit of a bakery and some liquor very friendly place

Very friendly, professional, and reasonable prices. Great meat.

Store has gone down hill since Sals took over. The meat is not the same and quality is not good. They have gone as far as blocking reviews on their sites. So Sad.

What a great local food store with a deli and fresh produce, meat counter and wine selection. What else do you need?

Went here to check out the meat department. Great selection of meat. The tenderloin is super tender and fresh. The meatloaf is seasoned very well and a must try. The prices are much better than the average meat markets.

Seriously? How are they? Since day one, as PROFESSIONAL a store that it can be. People that work there, even High School kids, absolutely amazing. Kids a very knowledgeable. Been customer for 25+ years. Sal's formerly Austin's on Webster Ave. Thank you for being so kind year after year, decade after decade.

If your looking for a damn good steak go check this place out. I honestly do not know of a place around here that has better cuts of meat than this place. Not only that they have things that I cannot find anyplace else such as Dina Mia pizza and pasties both a yooper delicacy worth it to check it out and get yourself a pasty!

Great meats, clean and tidy, and pleasant and helpful staff. And, I can drop off my tools, knives and scissors for The Traveling Sharpener! I've always been a fan of this small grocery store.
