I first opened The Painted Dog back in 2005. Located in Banner Elk, North Carolina, I began creating marketing artwork in local resturants such as Crabby Bills Seafood & Oyster Bar and The Blackboard, rotating artwork once a week to provide my clients and their customers with a fresh innovative "feast" for the eyes and soul. I also provided a bit of entertainment for patrons of these businesses while creating "in-house" art . I closed down in early 2007 to move closer to my father after he had a heart attack. I continued my art mostly for my own private collection but now i have decided to once again share my talent with the world. The market for what I had been doing before in Banner Elk was great, but where I am located now (Jonesville / elkin , North Carolina) not so great.... So I am trying the web based world of art to see what it has in store. I also do murals of all sizes ( my canvas space on one chalkboard for Crabby Bills was 10 ft by 7 ft..) , personal portraits, flyers, cards, canvas art, sculpture, Tattoo Flash, and poetry. I use a diversity of mediums including oil paints, acrylics paints, charcoal, pastels, india inks, and graphite. As of right now my transportation is limited so i will not be able to do art transferr and "in-house" work will also be limited. If interested in these please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I am also offering up for sale my own personal artwork..." Windows of my mind" i like to say. My personal tastes are flamboyant and colorful. I have an eye for human form, mostly female. Please feel free to browse thru mu pictures to see examples of my artwork and artwork for sale. I love to hear feedback, so please, feel free to comment. I look forward to helping you create and find a more colorful world.
