The Painted Turtle is a vibrant art studio which encourages and nurtures a community that is curious and passionate about fine and imaginative arts. A haven for creators and makers, we strive to cultivate creative spirit and challenge students to reach, and then grow beyond, their goals.
The Painted Turtle is nestled within the idyllic, 22-acre farm campus of The Nature of Things and offers various courses and workshops for ages seven through adults. Different subjects, mediums, and techniques are explored while artistic freedom and personal interests are fostered in students. Each course, whether focused on drawing, painting, or mixed media, is instructed with supportive and personable guidance that enforces problem solving, inventiveness, and originality.
